Crime rap after party by fan at P Diddy mansion

What happened to security locks etc?A FAN of Sean “P. Diddy” Combs sneaked into the rap mogul’s mansion — and partied like a rock star for 24 hours.

Quamine Taylor, 30, got into the empty property through an unlocked basement door, dressed in Combs’ clothes, and helped himself to food and booze.

Even after accidentally setting off an alarm in the early hours, he convinced a police officer he was a family member.

But he was eventually busted when an employee of Combs, 42, spotted him and called in cops in East Hampton on Long Island, New York.

Taylor, from the city’s Jamaica neighbourhood and said to have a history of mental illness, is now being held in jail on charges of trespassing.

He claimed he had been a regular visitor to Combs’ house since 2001.

Taylor said: “I stay there a lot, but Sean gets funny sometimes about me staying there.”

EXCLUSIVE: Uncloth Journalism Student Opens Up On Controversial Story to Nigeriafilms

I am sure you all remember the story of the Journalism student who posed nude for quick rise to fame into Nollywood? Here she is, only this time (as they all do) she is fully clothed and denies being the one in the nude photo.

On Thursday, April 12, the story of Adeshola Enitan Okesanya, a 300 level student of Nigerian Institute of Journalism (NIJ), Ogba, Lagos on her willingness to pose uncloth to break into Nollywood filled various online news media.

Speaking exclusively to Nigeriafilms on the story, Enitan confessed that she has felt good since the story broke online.

On the nude picture of her posted online, Enitan blamed it all on PM News. According to her, "I granted an interview to PM News and if you read the story well, you will notice that there was nothing about nudity in it.

Even the picture of me used in PM News of Wednesday, April 11 was not nude. PM News caused all this drama for me," she stated.

On her confession of posing nude to break into the competitive movie industry in Nigeria, she stated, "I did not pose nude and I do not plan to pose nude.

Less than a week after Marc Anthony filed for divorce from estranged wife Jennifer Lopez, there are reports that he really didn't want to split up with Lopez after all.

Marc was apparently hoping for a reconciliation but filed for divorce after JLo turned him down.

According to TMZ, instead of fighting for her marriage, Jennifer, 42, decided to pursue her feelings for much younger boyfriend, Casper Smart.

Where did the love go? Marc Anthony apparently wanted to reconcile with estranged wife Jennifer Lopez but she decided it was time to move on.

Sources close to the I Need to Know singer have revealed that he had a heart-to-heart talk with his American Idol judge wife a few weeks ago.

But she revealed that she is in love with Casper and wanted to end the marriage.

Marc apparently had no idea that her relationship with Casper had gotten so serious and was 'blindsided' by the news, the website reports.

Lagos doctors end strike

This is good news for citizens of Lagos State...

Activities resumed fully on Saturday at the various Lagos government owned hospitals and the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH) as doctors called off a three-day warning strike.

Doctors at Ikeja General Hospital, Igando General Hospital and LASUTH attended to patients, NAN reported.Some members of the Medical Guild who spoke with NAN, said that work resumed at 8 a.m. and that doctors were fully available to attend to patients.

The chairman of the guild, Dr Olumuyiwa Odusote, who confirmed the resumption, said that the suspension of the strike was to give the government time to resolve issues.

“We appeal to residents in Lagos to prevail on the government to do what is right in order to prevent another indefinite strike.

This time, it is a movie director named Taiwo Bello. Taiwo died today after a battle with cancer.

Taiwo once worked with Funke Akindele in one of her movies.

We escape justice after getting bail with bribes –Suspected robbers

A suspected member of a notorious gang of robbers believed to be responsible for many armed robbery attacks in Lagos has opened up on the strategies being adopted by criminals to evade punishment in the state.

Tunde Oyebande, 46, who was a furniture maker and dealer in aluminum products, was arrested by a team of policemen from the Special Anti-Robbery Squad in Ikeja after a gunfight in the Abule-Egba area of the state.

CRIME DIGEST learnt that the suspect was part of a gang that allegedly gathered recently on Ikoro Road in preparation for a robbery operation in a yet-to-be-determined part of Lagos.

Unknown to the gang, the police were already aware of their plans. Acting quickly, the police had raided the hideout of the suspected criminals.

Lagos State Governor Babatunde Fashola on Friday described the blockade of roads and resultant gridlocks in parts of the state following Thursday’s visit of the wife of President Goodluck Jonathan, Patience, as an infringement on the right of the residents.

He said the residents, whose taxes provided the infrastructure that made Patience to have a smooth ride, had their business activities put on hold while the blockade lasted.

Fashola, at the 2012 retreat for members of the state executive council and permanent secretaries, urged VIPs in the country to consider the consequences of their security measures, especially road blockade, on other Nigerians.

MEND Blows Up Agip Flow Station

The main militant group in Nigeria’s oil-producing region claimed in a statement on Friday to have attacked installations belonging to Italian firm ENI reports AFP.

There was no immediate confirmation from the company or from officials of the alleged attack in Nigeria’s Bayelsa state by the Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND).

“At 0210 hours on Friday, April 13, 2012, fighters of the Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND) attacked and destroyed one wellhead and one manifold on trunk lines belonging to Agip Oil Company, a member of the Italian ENI group,” it said.

“More attacks and a full statement will follow.”

The National Co-coordinator of Oodua Peoples Congress, OPC, Otunba Gani Adams whose family was recently blessed with a baby boy after nine years of marriage, has revealed that his wife, Erelu Mojisola Adams had 18 miscarriages before the arrival of the baby.

In an interview with P.M.NEWS, Adams said: “my wife was never barren. She had about 18 miscarriages during the trying period.”

The leader of OPC added: “those days were days of pains and agony but with my belief in God, I knew that one day, my wife will have the fruit of the womb.”

PENGASSAN, NUPENG Threaten 3-day Warning Strike

The PENGASSAN and NUPENG have threatened to embark on a three-day industrial action if the issues between the unions and the Federal Government were not resolved.

The unions made the threat in Abuja on Thursday when they met with the Minister of Labour and Productivity, Chief Emeka Wogu and other stakeholders over grievances they had against the Federal Government.

They hinted of a nationwide industrial protest and road show would begin on April 16, adding that the action would be based on a 21-point trade dispute with government.

According to President of PENGASSAN, Babatunde Ogun, some of the issues include: unjustifiable mass disengagement of workers/members in the Downstream Petroleum Sector (DPS).

'We spend a lot of time apart... but our marriage is strong': Jada Pinkett Smith opens up about Will Smith divorce rumours

Jada Pinkett Smith has opened up in a new interview about her marriage to Will Smith, insisting divorce is not on the cards.

The 40-year-old actress spoke to French magazine Gala and reflects on the media storm they were swept up in eight months ago where it was claimed she had a fling with her Hawthorne co-star Marc Anthony.

Will and Jada denied the reports at the time, which were published by InTouch magazine last August.

Acknowledging they spend a lot of time apart: 'I travel a lot because of my work, just like Will does... But our lifestyle hasn't changed.

'Before we had the kids, we were already far away from each other quite often because of separate projects.'

And she also set the record straight on their living arrangements, pouring cold water on reports they live under separate roofs: 'That's ridiculous. We've always lived together.'
