Father, 47, jailed after having three children with his daughter

Hello Friends!
''Vulnerable daughter?'' Couldn't she have told someone in the family? The daughter is as sick as her father!

A man who lived like 'husband and wife' with his vulnerable daughter and had three children with her was jailed yesterday.

The 47-year-old man from the county of Conwy in North Wales was told by Judge Merfyn Hughes QC that the girl was 'completely and totally under your influence'.

'She was an extremely vulnerable young girl when you started abusing her,' he added.

A man who fathered three children with his daughter was jailed for five years and ten months and must register as a sex offender indefinitely

A man who fathered three children with his daughter was jailed for five years and ten months and must register as a sex offender indefinitely

'You have been a controlling influence in her life ever since then. You are a considerable risk to someone like her.'

The man, who cannot be named in order to protect the identity of the girl, had admitted sexual activity with his daughter now in her early 20s.

He was jailed for five years and ten months and must register as a sex offender indefinitely.

Judge Hughes said at Caernarfon crown court: 'There’s considerable and significant potential impact of genetic complications in all three cases.'

A sexual offences prevention order was made which bans contact with the woman and children unless approved by social services.

The man must not form an intimate relationship or live with any adult who has children without disclosing the relationship to social services.

Prosecutor Kate Meredith-Jones said the woman was 15 when her father told her he was falling in love with her.

'She was made to feel special,' the barrister said. 'She describes how he got her drunk on whiskey which she didn’t normally drink.'

The man kissed his daughter but she pushed him away on this occasion saying: 'No, you can’t - you’re my dad.

But the next day they had sex and almost every night thereafter it occurred.
The woman told police she was a 'willing participant'.

The prosecutor added: 'They had lived like husband and wife, sharing a double bed.'

After the first baby, social services became involved but the woman and her father both claimed someone else was the tot’s dad.

The judge said the family 'closed ranks' and maintained there was no improper activity after the second child was born.

The man had been aware the authorities were concerned about what was happening in the house.
The truth emerged after she fell pregnant for the third time.

Defence counsel Elen Owen said: 'He agrees there’s nothing he can say that excuses the enormity of what he’s done and the consequences.'

The barrister said the woman wanted him to be allowed to return to the family home. 'It’s a very complex situation,' she added.

My breast implants have given me cancer: In a chilling twist to the scandal over implants made with mattress filling, one woman's disturbing claim

Hello Friends!

I hope this story would serve as a detterent to all women out there who are desirious of becoming plastic!Susan Grieve somehow manages a laugh, albeit a brittle one, as she reveals she is still paying for the breast implants she had nearly six years ago.

A single mother with a part-time job as a legal secretary, she couldn’t afford the £4,500 needed for the operation she was certain would improve her life, so she remortgaged her home to raise the cash.

When one of the implants burst last year and her surgeon recommended that both be replaced, the £1,500 bill went on a credit card, where the interest continues to accrue.

Susan just before her 40th birthday a year ago    Susan today, after two courses of chemotherapy
Suffering: Susan Grieve  just before her 40th birthday a year ago (left) and today, after two courses of chemotherapy

What will be the ultimate price for her ‘life-changing’ new breasts, though? That calculation may prove impossible. The biggest fear is that she will pay with her life itself.

Susan has cancer, a very rare and aggressive cancer which has rattled through her body at speed. A cancer she blames on her implants.

She is speaking to me from her hospital bed in Edinburgh, where she lies connected to all manner of tubes and machines.

Here, ironically, no one is bothered with the size of her breasts — least of all Susan. Today, the most pressing issue with her chest is how to get enough oxygen into it, and how to rid her lungs of the fluid collecting on them.

Team-mate of rapist footballer Ched Evans brands his teenage victim a 'money-grabbing little tramp'

Hello Friends!
It beats my mind how certain so called professionals would take the risks of loosing their career and maybe family, over a moment's pleasure! Some even damn the consequences as they slowly dig the graves of their career...
A team-mate of a footballer jailed for raping a drunken teenager provoked outrage last night by branding the victim a ‘money-grabbing little tramp’.

As Welsh international Ched Evans began a five-year sentence, fellow Sheffield United player Connor Brown posted an extraordinary rant on Twitter.

After branding the law ‘a load of ****ing ***t’, the 19-year-old wrote: ‘I’m with you geez’ and made his extraordinary attack on the victim.

Shortly afterwards he added: ‘If ur a slag ur a slag don’t try get money from being a slag [sic]... Stupid girls... I feel sick.’

The offensive posts were later removed from the profile, which features a photograph of Brown signing a Sheffield United shirt for a fan.

Evans, 23, was his club’s top scorer with 29 League goals this season, and was named League One Player of the Month in March. He was yesterday convicted of raping the 19-year-old woman at a hotel after a night out in Rhyl, North Wales, last May.

The victim had told police she had no memory of the incident and believed her drink may have been spiked.

Outburst: Connor Brown made the comments on Twitter
Evans’s friend, the Port Vale defender Clayton McDonald, was found not guilty of the same charge.

Their trial heard Evans had told police the footballers could have had ‘any girl we wanted’ at the nightclub where they had spent the evening.

‘We are footballers, that’s how it is,’ he told them. ‘Footballers are rich, they have got money, that’s what the girls like.’

Evans and McDonald had been out partying the night before the Bank Holiday last May and had booked a room at the resort’s Premier Inn, the trial at Caernarfon Crown Court heard.

The girl, who they had earlier seen falling over in a kebab shop after drinking wine, double vodkas with lemonade and a sambuca shot, approached McDonald, and the pair took a taxi to his hotel.

When Evans arrived in the room, he found the pair having sex, and claimed McDonald asked if he wanted to have sex with her too. Evans said the girl was ‘in control’ and he admitted having sex with her as a friend and Evans’s brother tried to film them through a window.

The girl awoke the next morning, naked and alone in the hotel bedroom. She told police the last thing she could remember was being in a takeaway shop.

Jailing Evans, of Penistone, South Yorkshire, for five years, Judge Merfyn Hughes QC told him he must have realised the girl was ‘intoxicated’ and in no condition to agree to sex. He said Evans had thrown away his ‘successful career’.

Afterwards, Evans’s lawyers said: ‘Ched Evans is shocked and extremely disappointed with the decision reached today. Mr Evans firmly maintains his innocence in this matter and is being advised regarding an appeal of the decision.’

Sheffield United said the club recognised ‘the seriousness of these events’. It refused to comment on Brown’s Twitter posts.

Muslim gang jailed for kidnapping and raping two girls as part of their Eid celebrations

Hello Friends!

Evidence of more EVIL in our world is seen from this story you are about to read, I do hope that with all the crazy and insane rape cases (especially those of infants and young children) Nigerian Legal System would take a cue and let true justice prevail.

A group of Muslim men who abducted and raped two teenage girls as part of their Eid celebrations laughed in court yesterday as they were jailed for a total of 38 years.

The girls, aged 15 and 16, were lured miles from their home to a dingy hostel.

In a horrifying weekend-long ordeal, they were plied with alcohol and repeatedly raped by two men, Shamrez Rashid and Amar Hussain, before being offered to a number of others who also ‘used them for sex’.

Ordeal: The girls, aged 15 and 16, were lured miles from their home to a dingy hostel where they were attacked

Ordeal: The girls, aged 15 and 16, were lured miles from their home to a dingy hostel where they were attacked

The 16-year old was forced to have sex six times with four different men.

The younger victim was raped by one man and then sexually assaulted by another.

One defendant, Rashid, 20, was said to have claimed the girls had enjoyed the sex, which he said had taken place as they celebrated the Muslim festival of Eid.

‘It was Eid,’ he said. ‘We treated them as our guests. OK, so they gave us [sex] but we were buying them food and drink.

They could have anything they wanted. They enjoyed it.’

His accomplice Amar Hussain, 22, claimed the girls were ‘slags’.

But Judge Melbourne Inman QC said the girls had still been children at the time of the offences.
He said it was quite obvious they had been frightened of the men, but this had had ‘no effect at all’ on their attackers’ behaviour.

Sentence: The defendants were jailed at Birmingham Crown Court (pictured)

Sentence: The defendants were jailed at Birmingham Crown Court (pictured)

They were still children and still living with their families,’ Judge Inman said. ‘In a civilised society, such people should be helped. You all abused them.

‘They were extremely vulnerable and you took advantage of that.’

The five defendants laughed and smirked as the horrifying details of their offences were described in court yesterday.

Rashid – who had already been found guilty of two rapes, an attempted rape, child abduction and an attempted sexual assault – grinned, laughed and made gun gestures in the dock.

His supporters in the public gallery hurled abuse at the judge as he passed sentence later.

The court heard how Rashid and Hussain drove the girls from their home in Telford in Shropshire to a Birmingham probation hostel on the evening of Saturday November 28 2009.

'Subjected to constant abuse'

They took them to an unfamiliar environment so they ‘would be disorientated and reliant on them,’ prosecutors said.

After raping the girls, they ‘in effect offered them up to their friends, introducing a string of young men into the house’.

Over the following 36 hours, the girls were subjected to almost constant abuse, despite begging their attackers to stop.

The 16-year-old was left with bruising all over her face and neck after she was forced to perform a sex act on Hussain.

She was then forced to have sex with Rashid and a third man, Adil Saleem, while others watched.
The court heard how she held on to a doorframe to try to stop her attacker dragging her into a bedroom, but was pushed inside and the door locked behind her.

She was warned that her attackers were in a gang known as the B9 Crew, and that ‘when someone pressed charges against them, they went to their mother’s house, put a gun to her face and broke her jaw’.

The girls eventually ran from the hostel and called the emergency services from a payphone.
The trial at Birmingham Crown Court was the latest of several cases in which groups of men have been accused of sexually exploiting vulnerable girls.

Hussain was found guilty of child abduction and three rapes and was sentenced to 11 years in prison.

Rashid received ten years for child abduction, two rapes, an attempted rape and attempted sexual assault.

Adil Saleem, 20, was given eight years for one count of rape. Jahbar Rafiq, 28, was handed eight years for rape and sexual assault and Amer Islam Choudhrey, 20, was given 15 months for child abduction and sexual assault.

Bride-to-be had throat cut by jilted ex-fiancee a day after she scrapped their 'Pretty Woman' wedding because of his obsessive jealousy

Hello Friends!

A bride-to-be had her throat slit and was left for dead by her jilted ex-fiancee - the day after she called off their Pretty Woman-themed wedding.

Care worker Sandra Cheadle, 42, and Andrew Bailey had been planning to marry in a ceremony inspired by the Hollywood movie starring Julia Roberts and Richard Gere.

But when she broke off their engagement due to his obsessive jealousy, Bailey, also 42, staged a terrifying ambush in the street as Mrs Cheadle walked to work.

Survivor: Sandra Cheadle, 42, was subjected to the vicious attack after she called off her engagement to Bailey    Jilted: Andrew Bailey was jailed for 18 years after he ambushed his ex-fiancee under a bridge

Survivor: Sandra Cheadle, left, was subjected to the vicious attack after she called off her engagement to Bailey, right

At Preston Crown Court, where Bailey was today jailed for 18 years for attempted murder, a jury heard how he armed himself with a kitchen knife and lay in wait for his ex-fiancee under a bridge.

He then subjected Mrs Cheadle to a frenzied attack as she tried to flee, and her life was saved only when three passing motorists saw a struggle between the pair and stopped to intervene.

One of the drivers rushed the victim to hospital, where she was treated for knife wounds to her chest, neck and arms and a collapsed lung. Despite serious injuries she has since recovered.

In the run-up to the attack, Bailey had made threats to stab Mrs Cheadle - at one time taunting her in a text message about her dead husband.

It emerged he had previously told a doctor he had contemplated suicide after an earlier breakup with Mrs Cheadle and said that if she had been present he would have 'slit her throat with a knife'.

In an earlier court appearance she had testified against Bailey from behind screens to avoid making eye contact. The mother-of-four revealed afterwards that she had suffered psychologically since the attack and has been unable to return to work.

'Ever since I’ve had trouble sleeping at night, I wake up having nightmares,' she said.

'It’s been a very difficult process for me. I tried to go back to work for a month but I had a anxiety and panic attacks.'

'We had things in common when we first met, but he just started pushing things a bit too fast and that’s when he started getting jealous. I just don’t understand how someone who have said they love you could do that.

'I was just lucky because I had people who stopped and saved me - I was taken straight to hospital. That young lad took courage to approach us and probably saved my life.'

Earlier the court was told the couple’s 'difficult' relationship had been on and off since November 2010.

They had met when Mrs Cheadle - whose first husband died in June 2010 - cared for Bailey’s late grandmother. In March 2011 the lovers got engaged and had planned their Pretty Woman themed wedding for the following December.

But when Mrs Cheadle called off the relationship in August 2011 Bailey began sending her abusive text messages.

One said she was 'damaged goods' and another message read: 'You could go and join your husband'.

Yet in September the pair rekindled their romance after Bailey apologised and sent romantic poetry to Mrs Cheadle, saying he wanted to give the relationship another go.

The couple spent the night together on October 10 but two days later, when jealous Bailey sent a text message asking if she was seeing anyone else, Mrs Cheadle broke off their engagement for good.

As she left work on the morning of October 13 she noticed Bailey waiting under a bridge of the A6 in Bamber Bridge, near Preston.

Mrs Cheadle turned to walk away but as Bailey ran towards her, she saw he was carrying a kitchen knife and 'looking angry'.

She told the jury: 'It was his eyes. I have never witnessed it before. He slit my throat and he stabbed me in the chest but I didn’t know I’d been stabbed in the chest until I saw the knife. I looked down and I had blood on my chest.'

The victim said she ran into the road where a passing motorist stopped and took her to hospital. She added: 'He just walked off casually. I just screamed hysterically that I’d been stabbed.'

Recalling her relationship with Bailey she said: 'It just didn’t feel right after we got engaged.'
Bailey, of Meanygate, Bamber Bridge, was arrested after he was followed by one of the passing motorists as he fled the scene.

He dumped the knife in a bin where it was later recovered by police and found to be stained with Mrs Cheadle’s blood. In interview he said he was frustrated by the problems in their relationship.

Bailey said he always carried a knife and had only intended to speak to his former fiancee - but when he saw her in the street he became angry.

He admitted wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm but denied attempted murder.

In mitigation his counsel Joanne Shepherd said: 'There were a number of cries for help throughout the relationship between them but weren’t dealt with as constructively as they might have been.

'He shows deep regret for his actions and he is very sorry for the harm he has caused. He is thankful the injuries aren’t as serious as they might have been.'

But Judge Christopher Cornwall told Bailey: 'A very much less attractive side emerges with you when you’re confronted with difficulties which caused you to turn to alcohol.

'She described you as pushy - in that you wanted to pursue the relationship faster than she thought appropriate.

'Your manner was someone who was lying in wait and someone who was armed with a sharp knife with intent to murder. You were out of control.

'She is simply uncomprehending how anyone could hurt someone that they once professed to love to the extent that they behaved in this way.'

Ibori, innocent at home, guilty abroad

James Ibori

Hello Friends!
Inspite of what fellow "thieves'' like convicted ex governor of Delta State(James Ibori) think, he is as guilty as any criminal caught in the very act of stealing!

I just wish that this kind of justice would be upheld in Nigeria!

EMMANUEL ADDEH writes that the conviction of James Ibori in the United Kingdom is a tragic reversal, and mockery of Nigeria’s judicial system

James Ibori, a former governor of Delta State, conjures different emotions in Nigerians whenever his issue is being discussed.

While many love to hate the embattled former Peoples Democratic Party power broker, others, especially his ardent loyalists, would have given an arm and a leg to get him out of jail if they could.

Some of the property acquired by Ibori with the looted funds
The life of the embattled former governor of the oil-rich state, within and outside the shores of Nigeria, has always been mired in one controversy or the other.

Born in August 1958 (even his age has been under serious contention), Ibori was governor of Delta from May 29, 1999 to May 28, 2007 under the umbrella of the PDP.

FG, states, LGs share N613.6bn for March 2012

Ngama

Hello Friends!
The Federal Government, 36 states and 774 local governments on Friday shared N613.6 billion for the month of March 2012.

The Minister of State for finance, Yerima Ngama, who gave the figure at the monthly meeting of the Federation Account Allocation Committee in Abuja, said the amount was N7.04 billion less than the figure for February 2012.

The FAAC meeting had been adjourned two weeks ago owing to a disagreement between the Federal Government and the states.

State governments had expressed anger at the delay in receiving their allocations from the national treasury, which is said to be short of funds.

The national treasury is said to be empty as a result of the alleged failure of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation to remit oil earnings in March into the Federation Account.

Consequently, the scheduled FAAC meeting was shifted from April 12 and 13 to April 19 and 20, to give the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation enough time to fund the treasury.

Besides the non-remittance of the March earnings, the corporation has a carry-over of N203bn indebtedness to the Federation Account from 2011.

‘Some of it has just been weird — such as people going to Hallowe’en parties dressed as me, “The Pregnant Man”.

'Some of it has been terrifying. One man has made videos pretending he has kidnapped Susan. He has a Susan doll and he hits her over and over. It’s sick.

‘The FBI have been involved and they monitor things for us. The world is full of crazy people and we have to have our wits about us.’

The couple bought sperm from an anonymous donor and Mr Beatie underwent artificial insemination. After an ectopic pregnancy which led to emergency surgery, he eventually fell pregnant with Susan in late 2007.

Gender reassignment operations

Involves construction of a penis through either a phalloplasty or metoidoplasty.

An implanted erectile prosthesis is used in a phalloplasty to allow the patient to achieve an erection.

A metoidoplasty involves surgically moving the enlargened clitoris transgendered men experience through testosterone treatments.

Although not comparable in size or dimensions to a phalloplasty a prosthesis is not needed to achieve erection and sexual stimulation is usually retained.

In both operations a scrotoplasty is used to create a scrotum.

The labia is reordered into an approximation of a scrotum and silicone testicles are inserted.

He had his next two children in quick succession, as he only had a short window of not taking testosterone.

Mr Beatie was having just eight menstrual cycles a year instead of 12, and only half of these cycles were useful for conception as he had previously had a fallopian tube removed due to the ectopic pregnancy.

He said at the time: 'I am only able to get pregnant four days out of the year... We had our babies in a short space of time because we don't have the luxury of waiting years between each child.'

Keeping life as normal as they could for their children Susan, Austin and Jensen, public interest in their unconventional family has always been intense with probing questions being asked of them, including how their sex life worked.

‘There are physical issues there obviously, but they aren’t the things that get in the way. The biggest problem is that we have three small children.

'Our challenge is actually getting the bed to ourselves!’ explained Beatie.

While Thomas and Nancy desperately tried to be an ordinary family, it was clear there were issues at play that never could be resolved.

Thomas, in particular, felt the full burden of the world’s disapproval, including accusations of making money from the whole pregnancy experience.
‘But that’s not the case,’ said Beatie.

‘We did make a bit of money, but we lost a lot more. My t-shirt printing business went under — partly because we had to close the doors to stop all the crazies coming in.

‘It cost me thousands of dollars to become a man, and many more to get pregnant. Then I had to hire a lawyer to be allowed to call myself the father on Susan’s birth certificate.

‘Legally, it has been a nightmare. The authorities wanted to put Nancy and me down as “parent and parent” on the birth certificate, as they do for same-sex couples, but I wasn’t having it.
‘I am legally a man, and I am the father. It all got so confused that at one point they put Nancy down as the father and me as the mother. The rest of the Beatie family come to see Jensen the day after his birth - and he still looks a little sleepy as he gives a big yawn

‘That took a bit of sorting out. In the end, we had to formally adopt the children, even though they are biologically mine, from my eggs. It’s unfair and, of course, it cost us thousands in legal fees.’

In fact attention fell on Beatie's difficult childhood as a way for conservatives to understand his and Nancy's decision to become a family.

His mother committed suicide when he was 12, and he and his father were never close.

He was born a girl and given the name Tracy, but says that he was always a tomboy.

In an attempt to feminise him, his father entered him in modelling and beauty contests. But Thomas rebelled.

By the time he reached his 20s, he was convinced he was a man trapped in a woman’s body. At 24, he started taking male hormones — the first step towards a sex change.

By this time he had met Nancy, a body-builder. She is 11 years older than him and has two teenage daughters, Amber and Jen, from a previous marriage.

However, at the age of 28 she had a hysterectomy because of severe endometriosis — where cells from the lining of the womb are found elsewhere in the body — so she couldn’t have any more children.

The couple married in Hawaii in 2003.

Thomas had already had a mastectomy to remove his breasts, and hormone treatment that gave him an outwardly male appearance.

In March Mr Beatie revealed he had filed for bankruptcy and was desperately seeking a job to get his family off welfare handouts and pay his $5,000-a-month mortgage

He tried to appear on celebrity dance show Dancing with the Stars last year but was pipped to the post by transgender contestant Chaz Bono.

He also revealed that he would be having a hysterectomy in an interview with 'The Doctors' last year.
