The 31-year-old, who is expecting her first child with boyfriend Kanye West, posted a snap on her Instagram page from a photo shoot this week. 

Her sister Khloe can be seen lifting up the peplum ruffle on her little black dress to reveal her pregnant form while the pair chat on vintage phones.

As well as her business duties for the Kardashian Kollection, the reality TV star has been spotted at the gym twice in as many days.

And while Kim is doing her best to stay fit and healthy during her pregnancy, she admitted to fans on Twitter that she was feeling tired and apprehensive about hitting the gym.

She wrote this week: 'Was so lazy but had to get that workout in! I'm so not a night workout person.'

Kim, whose baby is due in July, recently admitted she is terrified of piling on too much weight during her pregnancy.

For most 21-year-old women, a trip to a spa or the theatre are a nice way to spend a weekend. But for Stephanie Knight these are her precious dying wishes. 

The student, from Braughing, Hertfordshire, has been bravely battling cancer since she was 17 years old but learned on New Year's Day this year that her condition is now terminal. 

So she decided to draw up a list of things she would like to do in her final months.

Unusual requests include learning how to de-cork a bottle with a sword and to hold her own fake wedding.

'She has always wanted to get married and have lots of babies but has found it hard to have a partner while undergoing treatment, despite being a very pretty girl,' her sister said.

'She wants to at least have tried on dresses and had a hen do before she goes. It doesn't matter that it's not for real. 

'We're planning to go all out for the hen do. The local landlady and our friends have been talking about naked butlers or maybe even a stripper - if Steph allows it. 

'Steph was too young to come to mine and was having treatment when our older sister got married.'

But many of her requests are modest ones - she would like to finish her course and qualify as a nursery nurse and watch a sunset in a beautiful place.

She would love to go on holiday with her family and dogs, to the seaside with her nieces and nephews and to enjoy a 'normal' drunken night in the pub.

Perhaps more poignantly many of her wishes are for others. She wants to arrange for her sister to meet Gary Barlow or Robbie Williams and take her father to meet the Manchester United squad. 

Another wish is simply 'to make someone's cancer experience slightly happier to get through.'

Her sister Rachel Cross, 31, said: 'Steph is such a selfless person. For her it's more about memories for us as well as fun experiences for herself. 

'She wants us to have good memories of her rather than all the hospital memories.'

Miss Knight was diagnosed with Ewings sarcoma in 2009 after doctors found a tumour the size of a tennis ball in the back of her pelvis. 

By the time treatment started it had grown to cover the whole right side of her pelvis. 

She responded well to 10 rounds of chemotherapy and three lots of radiotherapy in the first year and went into remission in October 2010. She returned to college to complete her second year of her child education course and started working in a local nursery.

Lagos State Local Government Election Petitions Appeal Tribunal has upturned the judgment of the lower election petition tribunal, which declared the Peoples Democratic Party candidate, Babajide Obanikoro, as the winner of the 2011 chairmanship election in Obalende/Ikoyi Local Council Development Authority.

The Justice Opeyemi Oke-led five-man tribunal, in its judgment on Thursday, unanimously declared that the state’s Independent Electoral Commission had rightly returned the Action Congress of Nigeria and its candidate, Mr. Adewale Adeniji, as the winner of the election.

Obanikoro had on November 14, 2011 filed his petition at the LG Election Petitions Tribunal challenging the declaration of Adeniji as the winner of the election which was held on October 22, 2011.

The lower tribunal on October 4, 2012 in its judgment nullified Adeniji’s election and declared Obanikoro as the elected chairman.

However, the appellate tribunal held in its judgment that the failure of the lower tribunal to hear and determine Obanikoro’s petition within 30 days of filling it and not giving a specific order for extension of time had robbed it of its requisite jurisdiction.

A businessman, Jimoh Ibrahim, has lost his bid to halt a suit by two minority shareholders of the news magazine, Newswatch, who are challenging the legitimacy of his control of the magazine before a Federal High Court in Lagos.

The court, presided over by Justice Ibrahim Buba, on Thursday dismissed a preliminary objection brought by Ibrahim and his companies, Global Mirror Media Limited and Newswatch Newspaper Limited.

The judge also adjourned till today (Friday) ruling on the application by the plaintiffs seeking a restraining order against the defendants, NewswatchCommunications, Global Media, Ibrahim andNewswatch Newspapers.

Buba is expected to rule on whether or not to stop the defendants from publishing and selling to the public the daily Newswatch newspapers pending the determination of substantive suit.

The plaintiffs – Nuhu Aruwa and Prof. Jibril Aminu – had accused Ibrahim of fraudulent acquisition of the magazine.

At long last, the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other-Related Offences Commission will today arraign a member of the House of Representatives, Farouk Lawan, over a seven-count charge bearing on corrupt enrichment.

The charge stems from allegations by a businessman, Chief Femi Otedola, that Lawan demanded and received $620,000 as a bribe from him while he (Lawan) was the chairman of the House AdHoc Committee on Monitoring of Fuel Subsidy Regime.

The arraignment of Lawan alongside the secretary of the adhoc committee, Mr. Boniface Emenalo, seems an indication of the Federal Government sudden readiness to up the tempo of its anti-corruption campaign.

On Wednesday, a former Assistant Director of the Police Pension Office, John Yusuf, was rearraigned and remanded in prison custody barely 24 hours after an Abuja High Court handed him a light sentence after admitting to conniving with others to defraud the office and pensioners of N27.2bn.

Many civil society groups and Nigerians, including students, had denounced the Abuja High Court judgment, saying it was an indication of Federal Government’s unwillingness to take on the fight against corruption headlong.

Lawan and Emenalo, will however, be arraigned before Justice Mudashiru Oniyangi of a Federal Capital Territory High Court today. Oniyangi had on Thursday granted the ICPC leave to file the seven counts against them.

An 85-year-old man known to the Somolu community as Baba Yellow on Wednesday, escaped death at the hands of an angry mob when residents discovered that he had sexually molested a 14 year old girl(name withheld).

Policemen attached to the Onipanu police division were said to have stopped the mob action by arresting Baba Yellow and dispersing the crowd consisting of enraged mothers and petty traders.

Before the intervention of the police, the crowd had dragged Baba Yellow from his residence at George Street and booed him through the community for over an hour.

A resident who identified himself as Olamide said, “The mob stripped and on the verge of lynching him when the police arrived. “It was one of Baba Yellow’s neighbours who discovered that he had been sleeping with the girl. The neighbour had seen her leaving Baba Yellow’s room and he is notorious in the community for sleeping with young girls.

“The girl’s guardian was immediately informed and she raised the alarm after the girl confessed that Baba Yellow had been having regular sex with her.”

The enraged guardian allegedly marched to Baba Yellow’s house, where she engaged him in a shouting match after she confirmed from his neighbours that her ward had indeed been a regular visitor to Baba Yellow’s apartment.

A father of four grown-ups, Baba Yellow lives with his wife in a one-bedroom apartment. However, the wife who plies her trade at the Mile 2 market is usually away from home during the day.

My strategies for avoiding sex had run out and so, as the inevitable happened, I simply hoped my boyfriend could not tell that I was enduring, rather than enjoying, our encounter.

John was a virgin when we met, so I assume he did not realise how strange and dysfunctional our perfunctory couplings were.

We'd abstain for months until, finally, he'd start bribing me with gifts to go to bed with him. But I loathed it. I dreaded the foreplay, and the act itself repulsed me. I could only bear it by focusing my mind on something else.

It's not that John was a particularly inept lover - he wanted very much to please me - nor was this a terminal case of bedroom boredom. The problem is that I have always detested sex: the idea of it, the fact of it, and the repellent notion that society seems to revolve around it.

I am 29 and I have had three lovers, two of whom I lived with. I have tried to quell the disgust I feel at the prospect of sex, but have failed repeatedly to do so.

There is nothing physically wrong with me - doctors have confirmed this - and I am not afflicted by guilt. My parents had a healthy and open attitude to sex. There is no dark incident lurking in my past that would explain my abhorrence: I have not been abused nor mistreated, and I have never been coerced into having sex against my will.

I am not gay, and I feel no physical attraction towards women. I do not think anything is 'wrong' with me, although perhaps my attitude would have been considered less freakish if I had been born in the Victorian era.

I just hate sex, and have decided I will never put myself through the torture of it again. I am in my physical prime, but my sex life is over. I wish it were not so. My tragedy is that I want to be 'normal'. I crave the companionship of a man. I would love to be married; to build a home, to enjoy the comfort and domesticity of a life-long relationship with a partner I could cherish. I want to love and be loved.

I do not find men themselves abhorrent. On the contrary, I appreciate their looks and enjoy their company. I like cuddles, I don't mind kissing and I yearn for affection; but nothing more than that.

I have researched internet sites and discovered that only one per cent of the population is, like me, asexual. Of these, half are men and a smaller proportion is gay.

So I have resigned myself to the fact that there is scant chance of my finding a man I love who, like me, wants a celibate relationship.

I have not discussed my lack of libido with my parents - in a sense, this article is my 'coming out' - but I know it saddens them that the wedding and grandchildren they yearn for have not been forthcoming.

Perhaps they believe I just haven't met the right man yet. I can assure them, however, that I have persevered with sex for long enough to know that for me it is a misery and a penance.

Why should I endure it, just to make other people happy?

I have known since my teenage years that I am different from my peers. I grew up in Buckinghamshire, where I still live with my parents, and attended a girls' grammar school.

While my friends were devouring teen fiction and sniggering over the salacious nuances in it, I was immersed in animal stories. I found sex-education lessons alien and embarrassing: I did not see how they could ever apply to me. 

When my friends started pairing off with boys, I could not identify with them. While they bought make-up and made covert visits to Ann Summers shops, I enjoyed ballet and my beloved pets.

One by one they lost their virginity, and described the fact to me in dreadful detail. I couldn't see how any of it applied to me, but reassured myself that once I had a boyfriend, everything would fall into place.

The Christian Association of Nigeria on Wednesday in Abuja reacted to the allusion to Jesus Christ by a former Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Mallam Nasir el-Rufai, on a social media.

The body condemned el-Rufai, saying he was only tring to whip up sentiments around religion for a selfish agenda.

CAN urged religious leaders and political associates to advise him on the need to be sober and circumspect, in his comments to avoid setting the country on fire.”

The organisation, which also asked President Goodluck Jonathan to check the former minister, added that from his unbridled assault on the Christian faith, el-Rufai was capable of “setting the country on fire.”

The ex-minister had, in an attempt to discredit the Minister of Information, Labaran Maku; Special Assistant to the President on Public Affairs, Dr. Doyin Okupe; and Presidential Adviser on Media and Publcity, Dr. Reuben Abati, tweeted, “”@zebbook: If Jesus criticises Jonathan’s govt, Maku/Abati/Okupe will say he slept with Mary Magdalene.”….LWKMD…..”

The sarcastic post elicited angry reactions from his followers on Twitter and Facebook friends, who saw his comment as blasphemous. The twitter post sparked public outrage on the social media so much that he had to offer an apology on Twitter and Facebook.

His apology stated, “Hello friends. I have been travelling and trying to catch some sleep in between the last 24 hours and missed all the furore arising from my retweet of Ogunyemi Bukola’s (@zeebook) joke, Maku et al and Jesus. Confusion over the ceasefire declared by a faction of the fundamentalist Islamic sect,Jamaatul Ahjlil Sunna lidawati wal Jihadotherwise known as Boko Haram, has persisted with a top member of the group dismissing any future dialogue with the Federal Government.

Mujhahedeen Marwana, who claims to be another second-in-command to the Boko Haram leader, Abubakar Shekau, predicated his position on the fact that federal troops had of recent allegedly killed at least 47 Boko Haram emissaries in failed dialogue efforts.

A United States-based Nigerian online news portal, SaharaReporters, in its report late Tuesday evening, said it was in possession of an audio interview which Marwana granted a foreign journalist by phone in Hausa language.

On Sunday, a man, Muhammed Abdulaziz, who also claimed to be the organisation’s Second Commander (southern and northern Borno), had in a statement said they had agreed to cease fire because of talks they had with the Borno State Government.

Abdulaziz advised members of the sect to lay down their arms, warning that anyone that failed to do so risked arrest by security agencies.

Jimmy Savile beat and raped a 12-year-old girl during a secret satanic ritual in a hospital, according to accounts to the U.K. Daily Express.

The perverted star wore a hooded robe and mask as he abused the terrified victim in a candle-lit basement.

He also chanted “Hail Satan” in Latin as other pedophile devil worshipers joined in and assaulted the girl at Stoke Mandeville Hospital in Buckinghamshire, which sounds like Illuminati New World Order ritual abuse similar to the rituals shown in the Stanley Kubrick, Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman movie Eyes Wide Shut.

The attack, which happened in 1975, shines a sinister new light on the former DJ’s 54-year reign of terror.

Savile, who died aged 84 in October 2011, is now Britain’s worst sex offender after police revealed he preyed on at least 450 victims aged eight to 47.

The girl kept her torment hidden for nearly 20 years before finally opening up to therapist Valerie Sinason.

Dr Sinason told the Sunday Express she first spoke to the victim in 1992. “She had been a patient at Stoke Mandeville in 1975 when Savile was a regular visitor.

“She recalled being led into a room that was filled with candles on the lowest level of the hospital, somewhere that was not regularly used by staff. Several adults were there, including Jimmy Savile who, like the others, was wearing a robe and a mask.

A paranoid schizophrenic who killed and decapitated his elderly mother because he believed she was a witch will spend the rest of his life in a secure mental ward.

Daniel Coriat, 44, was seen wandering the streets naked like 'a zombie' before police found him hiding in a wheelie bin in a train station following the murder.

He told officers he was the son of God and had been living in the bin since he 'came down from the sky two months ago', the Old Bailey heard today.

He made 'Hannibal Lecter suckling noises' before snarling at officers as he was arrested and put into a police van.

Emergency services found his mother Elizabeth,76, brutally murdered at the flat they shared together in Forest Hill, south London, in March last year.

She had suffered almost 50 separate injuries and her head had been cut off completely off, rotated 180 degrees, and placed back on her body.

‘His mother was found on her bed, fully clothed, decapitated and mutilated with various weapons embedded in her head and body,’ said prosecutor Sarah Plaschkes QC.

‘There were injuries to the wrists and ankles, suggesting a crucifixion-like pattern.’

Coriat was due to stand trial for the murder of his mother Elizabeth, 76, but prosecutors accepted a guilty plea to manslaughter today.

Diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia at the age of 18, he would often fly into explosive rages when he stopped taking his medication, the court heard.

He mutilated his mother’s body with an arsenal of weapons including carving knives, secateurs, a chef’s steel and a pruning saw.

Neighbours saw him walking naked and around near his flat and described the property having fallen eerily silent.

One said: ‘He had a blank vacant stare. He was walking really slowly like a zombie, staring straight ahead.’

A judge at the Old Bailey has sentenced Daniel Coriat to stay in a secure mental ward indefinitely after he admitted killing his mother Elizabeth...

During an earlier court hearing, he claimed his mother was a witch, adding: ‘You saw the body when it was taken away. It didn’t look human.’Flanked by psychiatric nurses, Coriat laughed loudly in the dock as a judge ordered he be locked away in a mental hospital indefinitely.

Judge Richard Hone QC told him: ‘I have come to the clear conclusion your mental illness is the primary component of this terrible offence.‘My task is to ensure the public is safeguarded as far as possible from any recurrence of this bizarre, grisly and grotesque violence.’

Addressing the Coriat family, he added: ‘They must all receive the full sympathy of all those in court in the context of this simply awful event.’
The murder charge was left to lie on the court file.

There were indications on Tuesday that public outcry against the light sentence handed an Assistant Director in the Police Pension Office, Mr. John Yakubu Yusuf, by a Federal Capital Territory High Court, forced the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission to rearrest him.

The high court presided over by Justice Mohammed Talba had on Monday sentenced Yusuf to only two years’ imprisonment with an option of N750,000 fine for conniving with others to defraud the PPO and pensioners of N27.2bn.

Even before the judge rose, many in the courtroom expressed amazement at the judgment. While many Nigerians took to social networks like the Facebook and Twitter mocking the judgment, prominent lawyers and civil rights activists condemned it as a setback to the Federal Government’s anti-corruption crusade.

On Tuesday, one of the civil rights groups, Civil Society Legislative and Advocacy Centre, demanded the probe of Talba for the light sentence.

Also, the Nigeria Labour Congress said the judgment was an indication that the judiciary could not be relied on to deliver the country from monumental corruption.

A source close to the EFCC told one of our correspondents that the commission, apparently embarrassed by the public outcry , moved swiftly to redeeem its image by sniffing more into Yusuf’s records in order to nail him.

The source said, “We never expected what happened yesterday(Monday). The reactions that followed the judgment were embarrassing to us and that was why we quickly had to look into his files again and sniffed out things that we had overlooked. With those things, we had to rearrest him for fresh prosecution.”

'And I was getting annoyed because he wasn't telling me anything. He said, "Mommy..." I said, "Is she dead?" And he said, "Yeah, Mommy, she's dead." And I don't remember too much else after that.'
