Ever wonder why Robert Pattinson doesn’t have a Twitter? In this new footage from an old interview, he reveals the real reason — he thinks it ruins his life!
Robert Pattinson is old school when it comes to technology. Unlike some of his other Twilight co-stars (like Peter Facinelli and Kellan Lutz), the 25-year-old actor steers clear from social media sites, especially the bane of his existence — Twitter.

In this newly unearthed interview from a segment called “Scoop With Raya” on an Arabic channel, Rob finally explains why he will NEVER tweet. Watch!

“That thing causes me so many problems!” he says. “I don’t want to contribute to it whatsoever. That thing is a NIGHTMARE. For my life, the worst invention EVER.”

Unfortunately for Rob, we’re pretty sure his fans disagree. Twitter has been an awesome tool in helping us locate the ever elusive actor and his girlfriend, Kristen Stewart, when they venture out in public (like the Coachella Music Festival last weekend).

That said, we understand he usually wants his privacy — something that is hard to get when everyone is alerting the rest of the world exactly where you are every second of every day.

We wish Rob would just embrace Twitter and get one of his own — but it’s pretty obvious he’s not anywhere close to adopting that mentality. Do YOU think Rob should get a Twitter account?
