Hello Friends!
If this story is true, I would particularly be the happiest woman on earth! They do look great together and having a baby would just be the icing on the royal cake!
As the couple approach their first wedding anniversary, speculation about a royal bun-in-the-oven is at a fever pitch!
As soon as Prince William, 29, and 30-year-old Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, married on April 29, 2011, the world has been on a royal baby bump watch. But that time might finally be here! Insiders say the couple are preparing for a little one, according to People.
“Continuity of the monarchy depends on William producing an heir,” veteran royal watcher Judy Wade tells the magazine. “And a baby would put a seal on William and Kate’s happiness.”
Although the palace remains mum, a Palace source reveals that the couple have put plans for a trip to Africa on hold. The reason remains unclear, but many medical experts agree that the vaccinations required for travel to Africa are dangerous to a fetus.
Even more significant, several of the couple’s close pals now have kids. Watching friends become parents “does help” boost William and Kate’s decision to start a family, a family source reveals.
But don’t get your hopes up for an announcement quite yet. Royal watchers say it’s unlikely Kate will overshadow the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebration in June with a pregnancy announcement.
However, there’s doubt the couple is ready for a family. “They are very, very much in love,” a family friend says. “Kate is a great supporter of her husband, and he is fantastically protective of her.”
“Like any couple, they will let nature and life take its course,” another royal insider says. “It will be a joint decision, and they will make it when they’re ready.”
