Hello Friends!

A consultant is facing being struck off after a businesswoman was left with horrific scars following a boob job.
Andrea Scott's wanted to boost her bust to a F-cup but the stitches burst open and the implants began sagging out of the wound.

Watchdogs have launched an investigation into what happened following the surgery which was carried out by Dr Ashish Dutta, famed for offering lunch-break liposuction.

The doctor has already been proven to have inappropriately advised Andrea, inappropriately inserted implants and failed to refer her to another qualified surgeon for a second opinion.
He is currently being investigated for allegedly touting himself as a 'consultant cosmetic surgeon' when he did not have the right qualifications to conduct the procedures.

Dr Dutta denies the allegations and declined to comment while the investigation by the Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service (MPTS) is underway.

The 48-year-old carried out a string of follow-up consultations with Andrea  at the Aesthetic Beauty Centre in Newcastle upon Tyne.
A panel  has also been told he inappropriately referred to himself as a "consultant cosmetic surgeon".

Andrea, a 34-year-old company director from Consett, County Durham, was left £45,000 out of pocket.
She required four operations over 18-months to correct the blunder and says she is left with psychological scars that affect her business and relationship with her partner.
Andrea went to the surgery to even out the size of her breasts in January 2010 after another doctor gave her a tummy tuck and gastric bypass two years earlier.

Andrea, who lives with partner Aaron, said: 'I just went to the surgery to get it fixed.
'But it's affected my business and my relationship. I've struggled to come to terms with it, I've seen a psychiatrist and they've said I have an adjustment disorder.

'I don't want to think about it, but one of the worst side effects of the condition is suicide. This whole thing has totally taken over my life.
'I've had two years of not going anywhere, and my business has totally failed because I couldn't go to work.

'The worst thing about it is my self confidence between me and my partner.
'Before I had it done I would get out of the shower and it wouldn't be a problem. Now I don't even like looking at myself in the mirror.'
Dr Dutta has already admitted four allegations including 'inappropriately' inserting smaller implants after an initial operations, under local anaesthetic, failed.

But the General Medical Council (GMC) also claim he touted himself as a 'consultant cosmetic surgeon' and he 'did not have the appropriate surgical qualification to conduct the procedures.'
It is also claimed that he inserted a drain into Andrea's chest and that this procedure put her at a 'heightened risk of infection'. He denies the allegation.

Andrea said she previously had a boob-op in 2005, but says they lost their shape following a gastric bypass and tummy tuck.
She said: 'It wasn't a vanity thing - I had one breast bigger than the other.
'The NHS wouldn't do it so I went to Dr Dutta. About five weeks after the operation they started to split. It was coming apart but he said there was no infection.'

The latest hearing, chaired by the Reverend Robert Lloyd-Richards, was adjourned on Friday and will reconvene at a later date for the hearing to continue.
