Wardrobe's done a good Job(s)! Ashton Kutcher steps out in character as the late Apple genius Steve on film set

Hello Friends!

He was the visionary genius behind the Apple brand who sadly passed away at the young age of 56 last year after a battle with pancreatic cancer.

And when reports first started emerging that Ashton Kutcher was set to play Steve Jobs in a film about his life, many eyebrows were raised, and not in a good way.

But new pictures have emerged of the actor in costume as the Mac boss which he will no doubt be hoping will silence his critics - at least in getting the look right.

Ashton, 34, looked uncannily like Mr Jobs as he headed back onto set after a break.
Clutching a soft drink in his hand, Kutcher donned a black polo neck shirt, jeans and New Balance trainers, which was pretty much Jobs's look throughout the decades.

However, there is some confusion over what year of Jobs's life he was filming because while the hair looked like it was from the late Seventies, the outfit looked just like the one that Jobs wore in recent years.

Few things missing: If Ashton was meant to be portraying Jobs in the Nineties, the wardrobe department forgot to make his beard greyer and give him glasses

When Kutcher was first cast, many thought it was a joke until producer Mark Hulme officially confirmed the news.
He said: 'Since our film covers the early years of Apple, when Jobs was in his 20s, we needed an actor who could carry not only the youthfulness of Jobs at the time, but also the psychological complexity.
'Because of that, and Ashton's physical similarities to Jobs, he's perfect for our film.'

Lookalikes: Ashton won't have to spend too much time in make-up to play Jobs

'Jobs', as the film is entitled, is expected to be released at the end of the year and will feature the visionary businessman's rise from a California hippie to co-founder of Apple.

But it faces a big studio competitor though, as Sony is planning a separate biographical movie.
Jobs died in October last year after a battle with pancreatic cancer at the age of just 56.

Failing health: The biopic will also surely feature Jobs' battle with cancer

And it's shaping up to be a busy year for Ashton who has just signed up for his second season of Two and a Half Men.

Ashton Kutcher has signed up for a second season of 'Two and a Half Men' - and the tenth series of the comedy.

Sources told the Hollywood Reporter that Kutcher, who replaced Charlie Sheen as the lead character last year, will receive a pay rise of $25,000 an episode - giving him $725,000 for each installment.
