A new most beautiful girl in Nigeria is billed to emerge today as Silverbird Group, organisers of the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN), holds the 25th edition of the beauty pageant. The new beauty queen will represent Nigeria at all international pageants, including the Miss World.
The event is scheduled to hold at Best Western Homeville Hotel, Benin City, at 7.00 p.m.

The winner, according to the organisers, will go home with N3 million, a brand new car, a chance to represent Nigeria at the 2012 Miss World Beauty contest, among other benefits. The second runner-up will go home with N1m and a chance to represent Nigeria at 2012 Miss Tourism International pageant.
Miss Sylvia Nduka, the reigning queen(2011), will have the opportunity to crown the next beauty queen from among the 36 finalists drawn from across the 36 states of the federation.
The MBGN pageantry which has been in existence for 25 years now, had its first screenings in Benin, Port-Harcourt, Abuja and finally in Lagos at the Xclusive lounge, Silverbird Galleria, Victoria Island, Lagos, producing 36 finalists who will slug it out today as the next MBGN queen.
