Kristen Stewart returned to the spotlight this evening in her first red carpet appearance since news of her affair with married director Rupert Sanders broke six weeks away.
The Twilight actress was in Canada for the Toronto Film Festival promoting new film On The Road.
Estranged boyfriend Robert Pattinson was noticeably missing from festivities, as she flew solo with blonde publicist Ruth Bernstein instead.
The 22-year-old appeared to have been styled in an ambivalent style of dress, innocently decorated with flowers, but suggestive with its sheer bodice and lace lower skirt panel making it see-through.
Her long hair had been swept over her left shoulder, gelled, plaited and pulled into place.
She looked every inch the vamp compared to co-star Kirsten Dunst's ice pink prom princess dress.

While Kristen offered a smile for the camera when posing with a hand on her hip for photographers, the atmosphere proved a little overwhelming and she was later seen with crossed arms looking sad.
In July, Kristen was photographed in the arms of father-of-two Sanders, breaking not only the hearts of his wife Liberty Ross and her long-term love R-Patz - but loyal fans across the globes.
Pattinson has since returned to the limelight, squirming his way through various appearances as he promotes new David Cronenberg film Cosmopolis, while avoiding questions on K-Stew at all cost.
British model Liberty also ventured out, making a statement by removing her wedding ring.

No sign of R-Patz: Kristen was flying solo without her estranged boyfriend.
To add further embarrassment, today it was revealed that Rupert gushed about his leading lady in the DVD commentary for Snow White and the Huntsman - before their affair was uncovered.
Providing commentary over the action, he said: 'This is the first dialogue I shot with her, I said maybe you do a prayer. Her accent was flawless, she did such an amazing job on it.'
It remains to be seen if Robert and Kristen will both attend the premiere of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2, with the release date due in just two months time on November 16.
