What's eating Kanye? Rapper West can't raise a smile as he wanders around New York on Monday - he's been looking increasingly grumpy recently...
Hello Friends!
It should be one of the happiest and proudest times of his life as he eagerly awaits the birth of his first child next month.
But it seems that Kanye West just can't raise a smile.
The rapper has been looking particularly miserable of late and was spotted looking even more grumpy than usual as he walked along the streets of New York on Monday evening.
He covered his head with his grey hooded top and looked down as he grumpily sauntered along.
It seemed like the 36-year-old was more agitated than usual as he reportedly lashed out and yelled at a nearby videographer who was taping his every move.
It's just one in a line of altercations for the rapper recently as he seems to be getting increasingly fed up with the heightened interest in his life since starting to date Kim Kardashian.
While Kim seems to revel in the attention and cope with the scores of photographers trying to catch a glimpse of her, Kanye doesn't seem to be enjoying it so much.
Keeping his head down: He's currently in New York while Kim is stuck in Los Angeles while she isn't able to fly...
He was a huge superstar before he dated Kim but he's only recently experienced what it's like to be tabloid fodder.
And he even seems to be distancing himself from the Kardashian clan more and more despite becoming a part of their family.
When Kanye first started dating Kim last year he seemed to embrace their fame and what went with it, even agreeing to appear on their reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians to show his support for her.
Aggravated: While the Kardashians seem to enjoy the attention, Kanye hasn't been coping too well with the heightened interest in his private life, reportedly yelling at a videographer this weekend...
He even spent his 36th birthday last week away from Kim.
While pals like Beyonce and Jay-Z were on hand at the party in New York City, Kanye's girlfriend of more than one year was noticeably absent - stuck Los Angeles because she is no longer able to travel by plane ahead of the birth of their first child next month.
Trouble: The rapper is said to be driving executives 'crazy' with his antics in the recording studio for the forthcoming Yeezus...
But her thoughts were with Kanye as he rubbed elbows with his party pals.
The reality star publicly declared her love for her boyfriend as she wished him happy birthday on Twitter on Saturday.
'Happy Birthday to my best friend, the love of my life, my soul!!!! I love you beyond words!' Kim tweeted.
Although his birthday didn't even seem to lighten his mood as every time he's snapped he looks downcast and disgruntled with being spotted.
He even looked grumpy while on stage during a concert in the Big Apple over the weekend.
Cheer up: Kanye and Kim will welcome their first child next month after dating for around a year
West displayed a darker more abrasive edge on Sunday night...
The hip hop artist made an unforgettable performance at the Governor’s Ball Music Festival in New York, featuring a brand new industrial rock sound from his controversial forthcoming record Yeezus.
While Kanye debuted two singles from his genre bending album his pregnant girlfriend Kim Kardashian took to posting light-hearted self-portraits of herself online as she stayed close to home in Los Angeles.
Although he courted controversy once more thanks to his online comments as he continues to use the stage as an opportunity to rant.
This time it was the songs themselves which raised eyebrows, as he played his new song I Am A God.
The lyrics included the words: 'I just talked to Jesus and he said: ‘What’s up, Yeezus?’And I said, ‘S**t, I’m chili'.'
Shy all of a sudden? Kanye, pictured here sneaking into Kim's baby shower last week, has been noticeably trying to go incognito...
Another track, Black Skinheads, was performed with a number of eerie background dancers in Ku Kux Klan style hoods.
Religion was mentioned again, with him mouthing: 'If I don’t get ran out by Catholics, here come some conservative Baptists saying he overreacting.'
His new album has been met with controversy and former Full House star Candace Cameron Bure, who is a conservative christian, has branded the tracks blasphemy and ridiculed Kanye for comparing himself to Jesus.
On stage Kanye ranted in response: 'This is the part of the show where I start complaining about s**t... When I listen to radio, that ain’t where I wanna be no more. Honestly, at this point, I could give a f*** about selling a million records as long as I put out an album this summer that y’all can rock to all motherf***ing summer.
'And I don’t give a f*** that the label’s saying I can sell more records. And at this point, I don’t really give a f*** about outside opinions. All I give a f*** about is my motherf***ing clique.'
P.S. It's very clear that Mr Kanye West, is not ready to be burdened with the fatherhood responsibilities....Actions they say speaks louder than words, but words spoken reveals the state of a man's heart...
