His family was once again thrown into chaos earlier this year when his sister Paris Jackson attempted to take her own life. 

But now that Paris is doing well recovering in a Los Angeles hospital, her brother Prince Michael Jackson is doing his utmost to return to normality. 

The 16-year-old actor was joined by girlfriend Remi Alfalah as the pair headed to the premiere of the sixth season of hit show True Blood in Los Angeles on Tuesday night.

Dressed down: Prince wore a pair of baggy jeans and a black short-sleeved shirt for the Los Angeles event...

Prince went for a casual look in baggy jeans and a black short-sleeved shirt, while Remi, 15, went for a more glamorous look in a black mini dress and strappy sandals.

The pair failed to raise smiles for the evening out, although otherwise looked in good spirits.

Prince and Remi's outing comes after the aspiring actor and TV presenter cancelled his scheduled trip to Europe following Paris' suicide attempt.

But Silke Blomer, a representative for the highly-rated programme, said following his cancellation: 'Under these circumstances, we perfectly understand that Prince Michael prefers to stay close to his family. We wish Paris the strength and the power to recover soon.'

Since Paris' suicide attempt last week, Prince has been seeking comfort in the arms of his girlfriend Remi.

Just hours after the news broke, Prince was seen looking sombre as he headed out to a pizza dinner with Remi and her family, after visiting Paris in hospital earlier in the day.

It was reported that Paris' strained relationship with Prince was one of the factors in her attempt to take her own life, following claims that her decision to reunite with their biological mother Paris Rowe had caused issues between the siblings.

However, a source said recently that Prince put their differences aside after the suicide attempt.

'Prince stepped up, as he always does and told Paris how much he loves her in a phone call and vowed to help her in the aftermath of the suicide attempt,' the source said.
