Rapper DMX has been hospitalised after suffering a concussion in a four-wheeler accident.
The 41-year-old, real name Earl Simmons, was driving the vehicle outside of his South Carolina home when he lost control and crashed while riding down a hill.
According to TMZ.com, the four-wheeler flipped over but the star landed on his backside.
DMX told the website he does not remember much of the incident, recalling only flashing lights from the ambulance when he came to.
He posted an image of himself lying in a hospital bed on his Twitter page.
He said: 'I'm good!
'Flipped my f**kn four wheeler over!'
The actor is not sure when he will be released.
On four wheels: DMX rides a similar vehicle on the set of 2003 action film Cradle 2 the Grave.
The incident marks the second time DMX has been hospitalized this year.
In January, he was admitted after suffering food poisoning.
Although DMX has released six albums - and is due to release his seventh this year - he has become more famous for his personal life than his music.
He split from his wife Tashera two years ago after 11 years of marriage as it was revealed he had fathered several children with other women.
Tashera has four children with DMX, while he has six with other women.
However, earlier this year the estranged couple appeared on VH1's Couples Therapy together.
