Is that you, Keanu? Reeves cuts a lonely figure as he stops by a coffee shop... and loiters by himself for an hour...

Hello Friends!

My Thoughts: Knowing this guy to be a jolly good happy fellow in his movies, one would expect something like that or close to fun outside his movie character....Hmm mm...Guess it's time we pay close attention to Keanu....Hope he's OK...Or maybe he's having a quiet "alone time".

'Lonely Keanu' has struck again.
This time Reeves was spotted cutting a lonely, slightly morose figure as he nursed a cold beverage at a coffee shop in Hollywood by himself for over an hour, on Friday.
The 48-year-old actor loitered around the establishment doing his best to preoccupy himself with various solo leisure activities.

The Matrix star was clean shaven for once as he adorned himself in his characteristically glum dark tones.

Wearing a loose grey T-shirt and black sports coat, he kept his nearly shoulder length hair out of the way with a backwards snap back cap.
Sporting faded blue jeans, the actor completed his slouchy attire with a pair of suede lace up loafers.

Doing his best to make the most of his friendless day, Keanu perused a copy of The Los Angeles Times.
As he sipped his iced beverage, the actor was clearly interested in a write up in the entertainment section of the paper.

But for the most part he simply leaned against his chair in the posture of someone who is trying to kill time until something better comes along.

At one point he could be seen chatting on the phone, but the conversation was brief - barely creating a lull in his day of solitude.
Meanwhile, the actor has built a kind of reputation for looking lonely in his real life.

From pictures of him eating a sandwich on a park bench, to shots of him walking the street, bearded and looking miserable he has turned into something of an internet meme, with bloggers and chat forums playing up the 'sad Keanu' shtick.

The campaign gathered so much pace that representatives for the actor felt compelled to speak out to reassure fans about his well being.
'Keanu Reeves would like to thank all of his fans for their concerns regarding his happiness and wants to assure everyone that all is well,' his spokesman said.

Reeves, whose first name means 'cool breeze over the mountains' in Hawaiian, was born in Beruit, Lebanon.
His mother was a showgirl and his father was a geologist who deserted Reeves when he was three years old.
He never reconnected with his father who once served time in jail for selling heroin.

Reeves shot to fame playing Ted in the wacky time travel comedy, Bill And Ted's Excellent Adventure.
He went on to become a big budget action hero, staring in Speed, which he acted in opposite Sandra Bullock, and cyber adventure series, The Matrix.
Reeves was paid a whopping $15.5million a piece for the last two Matrix instalments, Reloaded and Revolutions.
