My Thought: It's so sad and painful to me personally that such a young and promising young man would meet his death like this...So promising, so much to accomplish....I feel i know Cory personally, because i followed closely his career and personal life as a huge adoring fan...Rest In Perfect Peace Cory...I still feel there is more to his death...
Numerous celebrities mournfully took to their Twitter pages to express their shock and grief over the death of Cory Monteith on Saturday.
The Canadian 31-year-old, who played Finn Hudson on Fox's Glee, was found shortly after noon by Fairmont Pacific Rim hotel staff.
According to the Vancouver Sun, there are no indications of foul play, and an autopsy is scheduled for Monday.
His co-star Mark Salling was one of the first to respond, simply tweeting the word 'No.'
Kim Kardashian broke her post-pregnancy silence to send 'prayers for his family' and Cory's girlfriend of two years, Lea Michele.
'Words cant describe what they must be feeling,' the new mother lamented.
Kim's half-sister Kylie Jenner posted an old picture of the hunky star posing with herself and older sister Kendall with the caption: 'R.I.P.'
One Tree Hill's Sophia Bush was 'heartbroken' having just seen Cory 'a few weeks ago in NY, looking so happy.'
Gossip Girl's Kevin Zegers wrote how he had 'never lost a friend this close' adding, 'This feels like a mistake.'

And his co-star Chord Overstreet's older brother Nash said Monteith was 'one of the best, kindest guys' he'd met.
Nash wrote: 'I can’t express how sad & horrible it is to hear about Cory Monteith. Pray for him, & his family.'

He had successfully completed a rehab stint in April for what his rep described at the time to be a substance addiction.
It was Cory's second trip to a treatment facility - his first stint occurred when he was 19.
Monteith admitted he skipped school to get drunk and smoke pot when he was just 13 years old and quit his education at the age of 16...
By the time he was 19, the TV singing sensation was undergoing a stint in rehab to battle his demons.
Speaking about his former drug habit in 2011, the actor said he did 'anything and everything - as much as possible'. I'm lucky to be alive,' he said at the time.
The fifth season of Glee featuring Cory's final performances premieres on September 19.
