Hello Friends!
Did Katie’s bold moves — filing for divorce in New York City and seeking an emergent application for a public hearing on July 17 — push Tom to settle? Find out all the details of this new report!
Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are putting their fists down — figuratively, of course — as their lawyers negotiate a settlement in their ongoing divorce, according to a new report!
According to TMZ, there are no immediate plans for Tom or Katie to go to court. In fact, if the negotiations go well, there will be no court hearing in the foreseeable future — including their public hearing on July 17!
The report suggests that Tom, 50, and Katie’s lawyers are working out negotiations regarding child custody, visitation, child support and a property settlement!
Right now, the negotiations are in a “calm” state and everything seems to be going smoothly, albeit for Katie’s mysterious phone call on Thursday July 5 that left her in tears!
Katie also made a visit to her lawyer’s office on Saturday July 7 in NYC! It seems like the settlement talks may be heating up!
What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers? Should Tom and Katie, 33, settle?
