A former escort linked to Wayne Rooney fears she has cancer after using sunbeds three times a day in a bid to get her self-esteem back.
Jenny Thompson claims after revelations over her private life hit the headlines she felt depressed and started using tanning beds up to three times a day and having injections to become darker.
The 22-year-old now has a growth on her left cheek and is terrified it could be cancerous.

She is waiting for the results of a biposy after making an emergency dash to the doctors.
Jenny said she turned to tanning after a TV interview with This Morning left her feeling self-conscious.
She told the Daily Star Sunday after watching herself on TV she felt depressed about her looks and the grilling over newspaper stories linking her to Wayne Rooney and Mario Balotelli pushed her to breaking point.

She said: 'When I watched the interview back, I just hated the way I looked, it shattered my confidence.
'It was the last straw. I decided I was going to make an effort to make myself look good and not look like the slapper I was portrayed to be.'

The former escort, who also models, started visiting the tanning salon multiple tiomes a day and spent thousands on exotic holidays.
On a trip to Egypt the WAG wannabe spent hours in the sun.

Claims: In 2010 Jenny sold a story alleging she slept with Rooney when his wife Coleen was pregnant.

Then she noticed the growth on her face and was forced to confront her obessesion.
She added: 'I was told I was a tanorexic, I've never been so scared in my life.'
Despite her recent concerns Jenny has just returned from a trip soaking up the sunshine in Marbella.

But all Jenny can do now is wait for the results of her biopsy.
In 2010 Miss Thompson claimed that Manchester United striker Rooney had paid her £1,200 a night for sex while his wife Coleen was five months pregnant with their son Kai.
