Joan Rivers has threatened to sue Michael Lohan after he made comments about her love of plastic surgery.
The 80-year-old star and Michael, 53, have embarked on a war of words after Joan made a joke about his daughter Lindsay Lohan on an episode of her E! show Fashion Police.
In response, Michael apparently claimed that Joan is 'obsessed with needles and cutting/self-mutilation' - referring to her love of Botox and plastic surgery, according to TMZ.
'Focus on you, Joan and have a little compassion for people with real talent like Lindsay, who have turned their lives around,' he told Radar.
But Joan has now struck back, telling Michael he was rather tardy in his comments.
'It's a little late to become a concerned parent,' she reportedly told TMZ.
The star also threatened Michael with legal action if he continues to allege that she's a plastic surgery addict.
'As for "cutting" it is totally not true and if he ever says this again, I will sue,' Joan said.
Joan has been open about the surgical procedures she's had in the past.
'I believe in plastic surgery,' the star once said on Joan & Melissa: Joan Knows Best. 'Every weekend I just go in and I do something. I get a tenth one free. It's a little like coffee - you just keep going.'
She also bragged to RadarOnline in March about having a Botox treatment: 'I want to look nice. No one wants to look ugly!' Joan said.
