Hello Friends!

It has taken three years, but rapper Eminem is back with a new album.

The Marshall Mathers LP 2 will be released on November 5 and is his first album release since the Grammy award winning Recovery back in 2010.

The controversial 40-year-old performer revealed the title of his next record during a promotional teaser during the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday night.
The new album will be proceeded by the first single Berzerk which will be released on Tuesday according to his website.

The clip - which revealed that the album will be produced by the rapper's long-term collaborator Dr. Dre and Rick Rubin - hinted at a return to his more aggressive earlier style on the record, also referred to as MMLP2.

In a snippet of the unnamed track, Eminem - whose real name is Marshall Mathers III - raps: 'Let's take it back to straight hip-hop and start it from scratch. I'm about to bloody this track up, everybody get back.'

The rapper had kept quiet about his upcoming eighth album, and Slaughterhouse member Royce Da 5' 9" recently suggested it was to retain 'the element of surprise.'

He previously said: 'Em's whole thing is the element of surprise. That's how it's always been with him.'

Eminem teased the new album and single on Twitter on Sunday and a later caption at the MTV Video Music Awards read: 'Guess who's REALLY back? #VMAs.'
The controversial rapper recently upset his British fans after he refused to allow the BBC to broadcast or record any of his performance at the Reading Festival.

The news was only revealed by officials from the festival on Saturday afternoon when a representative wrote on the event's Twitter page.
The statement read: 'Unfortunately we will not have any audio or video coverage of @Eminem from Reading or Leeds Festival . He asked us not to record his set.'

The stars were given the option over whether they were happy to let their sets be streamed on television.
But Eminem obviously didn't want that to be the case as he made sure only the revellers at the festival got to see his performance.
