Jennifer Lopez engaged in a PDA with Casper Smart - a public display of aggression.

The American Idol judge, 42, and her toyboy lover, 25, were spied in a convertible ahead of her appearance on the show, with the couple allegedly said to be bickering.

The Love Don't Cost A Thing singer clearly didn't look too happy compared to their usual scenes of affection, raising her eyebrows as frown lines surfaced above the rim of her sunglasses.

J-Lo, dressed casually in a lime green tank top, then exited the car without leaning in for a kiss.
Professional dancer Casper didn't seem to shoot her an adoring glance either, looking into his lap.

However, whatever the drama, the show obviously needed to go on, with J-Lo later looking sensational in a paillette dress for her appearance that evening on the talent show.

The Wedding Planner actress ditched her daytime attire for the stunning sequin cocktail frock with a bold white high-neck panel which bled into a metallic middle and then a black mini skirt.

Her hair was pinned back elegantly in true Hollywood glamour, to show off her pair of hoop earrings.
Whether or not Lopez and her post-marriage rebound can last the distance, the mother-of-two has made no secret about being keen to have more children.

During a press conference for new film What To Expect When You're Expecting, she said: 'It would be a blessing for me. But right now I'm focused on doing it right with those two, Max and Emme.'
She also hinted towards adoption, adding: 'Before the movie, I never really thought about adoption at all and I was so focused on having my own and it took me awhile to have my own.

'But after the film and during the making of the film, I held those two little Ethiopian twins and you fall in love instantly... It really occurred to me, I can see how somebody can do this.'

J-Lo is said to have embarked on her romance with Casper last November, following her split after seven years of marriage with Marc Anthony - the father of her twins - in July 2011.
