Hello Friends!

Sharon Osbourne has launched a scathing attack on Lady Gaga, accusing the singer of being desperate for attention after openly criticising her daughter, Kelly.

The Osbourne family matriarch and television star published a letter to the Paparazzi hitmaker on Thursday after Kelly and Gaga traded barbs.

'I am calling you a bully because you have 32 million followers hanging on your every word and you are criticizing Kelly,' Sharon writes, asking, 'Are you so desperate that you needed to make this public?'

The controversy erupted after Kelly made comments about Gaga's weight gain late last year.

Speaking to Alan Carr for his Channel 4 chat show, Kelly said: 'I think she is pregnant because she has been covering up this part of her body recently and I have been noticing that a lot,' she said, referring to a photo of the singer wearing a burka to a London Fashion Week event.

'And her style has changed and you can’t bleach your hair blonde when you are pregnant,' she added.

Gaga's furious 'little monster' fans responded with frightening death threats, prompting Sharon to write the singer's manager.
In an email to Vince Hebert sent on Thursday, Sharon reminds him that she wrote last year about Gaga's fans bullying Kelly online, and complains that he 'never really responded'.

'Well, it’s continuing again. I want you to read the blog below from a Lady Gaga fan,' she continues.

The ultimate Bond girl: If Adele's Skyfall wins an Oscar it will be the first 007 film to scoop the honour...

Hello Friends!

British singer and new mother Adele has been nominated for an Oscar for her 007 theme Skyfall - but the Bond blockbuster sensationally missed out on a Best Film nod.

The singer took to her Twitter page for the first time in nearly a month to express her delight over the honour, tweeting: 'Oh my god I feel like Meryl Streep!! Thank you x'

If Skyfall wins it will be the first 007 song to scoop an Academy Award in the 89-year history of the Oscars.

Excited: Adele tweeted for the first time in nearly a month after hearing about the nomination

Although Skyfall, starring Daniel Craig, made more than $1 billion worldwide and is the most successful film yet in the 50-year history it was snubbed by The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, despite the ceremony having a special Bond 'tribute' segment to celebrate the franchise.

If Adele's Skyfall took home the Best Original Song Oscar, it would mark the first time a Bond theme has taken the honour.

It would not be the first Bond song to receive a nomination, however, as Paul McCartney and Wings' Live And Let Die was up for the prize back in 1973 - but lost out to The Way We Were.

The singer is competing against Before My Time from Chasing Ice, Everybody Needs A Best Friend from Ted, Pi's Lullaby and Suddenly from Les Miserables.

Two more Bond themes have been nominated for the prestigious award - Carly Simon's Nobody Does It Better in 1979, from the movie The Spy Who Loved Me, and Sheena Easton's For Your Eyes Only in 1981. There had been fears that the track, which Adele co-wrote with Paul Epworth, could not receive a nomination because it included parts of the infamous 007 tune.

Adele is thought to be making her first public performance since giving birth at the upcoming Academy Awards.

Her nomination for best original song puts her up against Oscars host Seth MacFarlane, who is nominated for Everybody Needs A Best Friend from his film Ted.

Iranian charged with importation of bombs denies culpability...

A Picture Of Iran...

Hello Friends!

An Iranian, Azim Aghajani, charged alongside a Nigerian, Ali Jega, for allegedly importing weapons, including explosives, has denied culpability in the offence.

He said he was deceived by the documents backing the importation of the consignment.

Aghajani, who continued his defence on Wednesday, told a Federal High Court, Lagos, that he had believed the bill of lading which, according to him, stated that the consignment consisted of building materials. The accused, who was led in evidence by his counsel, Mr. Chris Uche (SAN), said, “From the content of the bill of lading, I concluded that there was no unlawful item in the container.

“I was not able to see the content of the consignment until I was apprehended at the Naval Ordinance at Apapa, where the content of the container was revealed to contain arms and explosives.

“I sincerely never knew of the content of that consignment, neither did I make any representation that the consignment belonged to me.”

Man accused of biting off journalist’s ear...

Scales-Of-Justice

Hello Friends!

A 50-year-old man, Alao Akala, has been arraigned before an Abeokuta Magistrate’s Court for allegedly biting off the left ear of a journalist, Saheed Ganiyu.

Akala, who was charged with alleged assault of two journalists who were on a research mission into the background and origin of the late political godfather of Kwara politics, Dr. Olusola Saraki, also allegedly hit the other, Rasaki Olayiwola, on the head with a camcorder stand.

Police Prosecutor, Sunday Eiagbejiale, said the accused committed the offence on January 3 at Ago-Ika in Abeokuta, Ogun State.

Eiagbejiale told Magistrate Martins Akinyemi that the accused attacked the two journalists who were carrying out their lawful duty with “no just cause.”

The prosecutor said, “Akala bit off Ganiyu’s left ear, causing grievous harm and hit Olayiwola on the head with a camcorder stand.

“It will interest this court to know that the journalists are in Abeokuta from Ilorin, Kwara State to research the claim that Chief Olusola Saraki was from this town.

“As an indigene was giving them the low-down of how the late Saraki was related to Abeokuta, the accused came midway into the interview, broke the camera and turned the venue upside down.”

LG to empower artisans, traders with N100m loan...

Hello Friends!

Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Area, Lagos State, has partnered a financial institution to grant loan of N100m to artisans and traders in the area.

The Chairman, Mr. Bolaji Muse-Ariyoh, said during a town hall meeting on Thursday that the gesture was part of the poverty alleviation and empowerment of the less-privileged in his domain.

He said the N100m loan would not be given to individuals directly but through associations for ease of repayment.

Muse-Ariyoh said, “In our domain, we have a lot of less-privileged. So, we have made poverty alleviation and empowerment our cardinal objective. We believe that this N100m loan will be a means to boost their income.

“We have decided that instead of giving our people fish, we will teach them how to fish. That is why we have decided to facilitate the granting of the loan to empower them. We encourage people who want to key into the programme to join an association and it must be registered with the LGA.”

Oshiomhole wants DIG sacked over Oyerinde’s death probe...

Edo State Governor Comrade Adams Oshiomhole
Edo State Governor Comrade Adams Oshiomhole...

Hello Friends!

Edo State Governor Adams Oshiomhole on Thursday in Abuja called for the dismissal of the Deputy Inspector-General of Police, Peter Gana, who supervised the investigation into the murder of his private secretary, Olaitan Oyerinde.

Oshiomhole alleged that the DIG was shielding the real killers and urged President Goodluck Jonathan to intervene in the matter.

He said the State Security Service apprehended Oyerinde’s suspected killers while the police arrested and detained an innocent civil rights activist, Rev. David Ugolor, for two months without trial in disobedience of a court order.

The governor, who canvassed for the scraping of the Police Affairs ministry on the grounds that it politicises the Force, noted that with a functional Police Service Commission, the country would not need a ministry in charge of police affairs.

The governor said this while delivering a key note address at the inauguration of a Code of Conduct for officers and men of the Nigeria Police, Vice-President, Namadi Sambo represented President Goodluck Jonathan.

Oshiomhole said, “I am aggrieved; I am aggrieved over the murder of my private secretary and the way in which it was trivialised.

Director General of NAFDAC, Dr Paul Orhii

Hello Friends!

National Agency for Food and Drugs Administration and Control has begun a probe into Prof. Isaiah Ibeh’s claim on Tuesday that he had discovered a herbal drug capable of curing AIDS.

Reports quoted the Dean of Basic Medical Sciences, University of Benin as saying the drug had undergone “a series of successful tests”.

The Director-General of NAFDAC, Dr. Paul Orhii, who addressed a media conference in Abuja on Thursday, said the agency had invited Ibeh to prove his claim. He warned members of the public against buying the drug because it had not been subjected to standard scientific protocols.

He said the don was wrong going public, saying it was the duty of the Minister of Health, Prof. Onyebuchi Chukwu, to make the announcement after tests by NAFDAC.

Orhii said the product was never brought to his agency for vetting and neither was it subjected to any institutional scrutiny.

He said, “I wish to caution other persons who might want to follow in the footsteps of Prof. Isaiah Ibeh in making public claims for products whose safety and efficiency have not been scientifically proved to desist from such acts .

A former Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria, Prof. Charles Soludo, was on Thursday arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission over his role in the Australian polymer banknotes bribery scam which occurred between 2006 and 2008 when he was in office.

The PUNCH was informed by sources in the commission that Soludo arrived the EFCC Headquarters about 2pm from his Abuja residence and immediately faced a team of operatives who quizzed him for several hours to ascertain his level of complicity in the scandal.

It was learnt that the decision to look into the polymer deal was followed a petition by Human and Environmental Development Agenda.

According to the chairman of HEDA, Mr. Olanrewaju Suraju, the group’s petition had demanded the investigation and possible prosecution of those involved in the alleged contract scam.

The petition had demanded that both the EFCC and the Independent Corrupt Practices and other Related Offences Commission pursue the investigation and prosecution as provided by laws establishing both anti-graft agencies.

My Thoughts: What do you think? I think things are getting a little bit out of hand for our talented star huh? Maybe he should just take a deep breath and consider the consequences of his every action more...Being in the public eye isn't easy at all, especially if there are young ones looking up to you as a role model....

Our 20 year old David 'Davido' Adeleke threw caution into the wind this afternoon when he attacked a blogger, Sheifunmi, by calling him a 'fool and a faggot' on twitter.

The singer was reacting to a follow up story done by the MTV Base man on the marriage break up of Davido's  father, with his wife of two years which hit the news headlines last week.

Tweeting the story, Shefunmi posted the headline of the story on his (Sheifunmi) twitter page, which Davido found offensive.

Reacting to the piece of story headline, Davido tweeted at the blogger "U r a fool! Faggot."
Davido has now come under attack from fans who label him 'a spoilt little brat' that is being intoxicated with fame and fortune.

It begins a short way into their argument - after the 19-year-old aspiring recording artist had apparently stepped on the woman's shoe.

Mixed messages: Dustin Hoffman, right, in Tootsie...

Hello Friends!

As a militant troublemaker, I once wrote that it was the duty of every woman worthy of the description to upset men at least three times a day, on principle.

I remain a committed feminist, but, as I grow older, I increasingly find myself pondering the wise words of Professor Higgins in My Fair Lady. He asked why women couldn’t be more like men, who were so ‘pleasant’ and easy to please.

‘Men are so decent, such regular chaps, ready to help you through any mishaps,’ argued the professor.

In fact, with the passing of time, I have met so many second-rate women and so many thoroughly excellent men that I can no longer cling to the certainties of my youth when it comes to the genders.

Below are the ways in which I believe men conduct themselves far better than women. I firmly believe my own gender could improve itself by imitating men, and by taking careful note of this list.

1: Men aren't perfectionists:

Last month a survey revealed that women spend nearly three times as long as men wrapping gifts. How pointless is that, when the wrapping is going to be torn off as soon as the gift has been opened? Clever men, I say.

I once witnessed two women come to blows over the last family-size pork pie in a Brighton M&S, even though there were numerous smaller ones on the shelves.

Why couldn't they just buy a few of the smaller ones instead? As any self-respecting man would say, they taste exactly the same after all.

2: Men don't seek solace in mindless pampering:

Relaxing? Getting preened to look good can be hard workRelaxing? Getting preened to look good can be hard work...
When a man wants to relax, he will slob out and REALLY relax. Or he will pursue a hobby — anything from building models to watching sport.

Women, more often than not, do things which aren’t remotely relaxing but are all about preening, which is just another sort of work.

They will slog through packed clothing stores which leaves them feeling fat and frumpy, or spend hours being tweaked by younger women whose beauty leaves them feeling plainer than ever.

While pretending to indulge women, the pampering and clothing industries actually imply that women are so revolting in their natural state that even their ‘me time’ must be dedicated to turning themselves into living dolls. And then the bills arrive! Mmm, REALLY relaxing.

We’re not aware of AIDS cure breakthrough – UNIBEN

University of Benin

Hello Friends!

University of Benin on Wednesday distanced itself from Prof. Isaiah Ibeh’s claim that he had found a possible cure for AIDS.

Reports on Wednesday quoted Ibeh, who is UNIBEN’s Dean of Basic Medical Sciences, as saying he had developed a herbal drug capable of curing AIDS.

He told the News Agency of Nigeria in Benin on Tuesday that the new drug had undergone “a series of successful tests”.

But speaking with our correspondent in his office on Tuesday, Provost, College of Medical Sciences, UNIBEN, Prof. Vincent Iyawe, said the university was unaware of the breakthrough, and would therefore not substantiate it until procedures for verifying such were concluded.

Iyawe said, “The school will like to take credit for a breakthrough, but the school cannot align with the breakthrough because the university college was not consulted and the university was not consulted. He didn’t carry anybody along, so, this is the issue. There are protocols and procedures, stage by stage procedures

“We are going to take it (drug) to the clinical laboratory, we are going to take it to the Federal Ministry of Health because they have a procedure there.

“We’ll probably take it to NAFDAC because it is a unit or department of the ministry. We’ll take it for clinical trial, and many things we’ll have to do before we can announce that we discovered something.

9/11: Inside Job & Illuminati New World Order Ritual – Video

Twin Towers Being Attacked on 9/11: Demon Face Seen in Explosion Clouds

Twin Towers Being Attacked on 9/11: Demon Face Seen in Explosion Clouds...

Hello Friends!

My Thoughts: This makes an interesting reading and the most important aspect of this article, is that the facts speak for themselves...

During September 11, 2001 BBC news reported that World Trade Center Tower 7 had collapsed 15 minutes before it happened.
Their bumbling mistake was verified when the BBC reporter was reporting that the building had collapsed and behind her, the viewers could see the building still standing.

Their mistake was planned but foolishly released too early. How did they know this information? Who told them?

See the video:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=6mxFRigYD3s#t=0s

The owner of the World Trade Center complex said on international news shortly after Building 7 fell that “we pulled it” referring to that it was demolished with dynamite. Later he retracted what he said.

This blatant prediction by BBC that was not meant to be a prediction and the admission by the WTC land owner is one of the many pieces of evidence that points to 9/11 being a planned false flag operation meant to garner support from the American citizens and the world to invade the Middle East for war profiteering and to justify eliminating the rights of citizens. By taking these rights, it would be easier to usher in the New World Order Illuminati agenda of creating a one-world government martial law police state.

Listen to the explosion that was caught on video when WTC Building 7 went down:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=0YvrKfWkxdw#t=0s

CBS News anchor Dan Rather commenting on the collapse of Building 7 – September 11, 2001 at approximately 5:30 pm EST: “Amazing, incredible, pick your word. For the third time today, it’s reminiscent of those pictures we’ve all seen too much on television before, where a building was deliberately destroyed by well placed dynamite to knock it down.”

Video of Dan Rather:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=Nvx904dAw0o#t=0s

Witnesses, including government administrators, who were inside Building 7 on 9/11 or heard the explosions are now mysteriously dying before official reports are released to the public.

See this video:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=bvay28lZiHU#t=0s

Oddly, their have been numerous allusions in music and movies to the 9/11 terrorist attacks before they happened. These occurrences have led people to believe that not only did government officials know about planning the attacks, but also somehow people within other forms of media and entertainment had at least heard rumors about it beforehand.

Maybe at the elite executive level of these companies, there were people involved in a ritual part of the attack, or they were used by the government to get people prepared to see an attack. Similarly, many people believe the numerous alien movies are commissioned by the government to prepare people for one day to see an alien attack or disclosure of their existence.

The band The Coup’s album cover for Party Music, depicted group members Pam the Funkstress and Riley standing in front of the Twin Towers as they are destroyed by huge explosions. Riley is pushing a detonation button on a guitar tuner.

The cover art was finished in June 2001. How did The Coup predict this event? Were they told by someone within the conspiratorial group planning the attack?

Back together on stage: Chris Brown, here at the 2008 Jingle Ball, wants to duet with Rihanna at the Grammys...

Hello Friends!

It appears the Grammys may be even more controversial than usual this year.

For it has emerged Chris Brown is determined to perform a duet with his lover Rihanna at this year's star spangled show.
While Rihanna has been confirmed as being one of the acts at this year's show, Brown has yet to be named as appearing.

But even if his plans are vetoed by the show's reluctant producers, it has also been claimed the pair are set to make a spectacular entrance by walking down the red carpet together.

An insider told Radar: 'Chris wants to perform with Rihanna at the Grammys to show the whole world they are back together.
'Chris doesn’t care what the haters say, and wants to give the viewers an over the top performance with Rihanna.

'He wants the fans to know this is the real deal, and he is a changed man.

'If Rihanna can forgive him, the rest of the world should move on from what happened four years ago.'

Together again: The pair were spotted enjoying a basketball game together last month in Los Angeles

But it seems their plan could be doomed to failure, as producers are hesitant about the idea.
A source they 'haven’t signed off on having Chris and Rihanna perform together.'

They added: 'It’s an extremely delicate situation and there is concern about the backlash the performance could receive. But it could also be ratings gold.'
But even if the performance does not pan out, they could still steal the show by walking down the carpet together.

Red alert: Rihanna and Chris were noted for their eccentric carpet outfits such as here at the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards

A source told Hollywood Life: 'She wants her man on her arms with her at the Grammys.
'They both aren’t worried about being out in public together. That’s obvious.

'She already talked to him about going to the Grammys together and that’s the plan right now.'
However the 24-year-old Umbrella star is who is nominated for three awards, and sees the volatile singer as a giant rabbit's foot.

A maid convicted of killing a baby has been beheaded in Saudi Arabia, despite being only 17 at the time of the crime.
Rizana Nafeek was beheaded by sword in Dawadmy, near the capital Riyadh, on Wednesday morning.

The execution went ahead despite years of international appeals from Miss Nafeek's family and human rights groups. Supporters of the housemaid, from Sri Lanka, say the age on her passport was changed so she could get work and that according to her birth certificate she was just 17 at the time.

The Sri Lankan government said it 'deplores the execution' and human rights groups also condemned her death. Miss Nafeek was sentenced to death in 2007 after her Saudi employer accused her of strangling his four-month-old baby two years earlier after a dispute with the child's mother.

But Miss Nafeek always protested her innocence and said the baby had choked to death while being bottle fed. Her parents repeatedly appealed to King Abdullah to pardon their daughter.

The Sri Lankan government also appealed against the death penalty but the Saudi Supreme Court upheld it in 2010.

It was again ratified by the Saudi interior ministry yesterday.

The Sri Lankan foreign ministry said in a statement that President Mahinda Rajapaksa twice personally appealed to the Saudi government to halt the execution and pardon Miss Nafeek.

Rizana Nafeek's parents, pictured, campaigned for her to be freed and said she was still a child at he time of he baby's death...

Rizana Nafeek's passport states she was born in 1982 but her birth certificate states she would only have been 17 at the time of the alleged killing...

It added: 'President Rajapaksa and the government of Sri Lanka deplore the execution of Miss Rizana Nafeek despite all efforts at the highest level of the government and the outcry of the people locally and internationally over the death sentence of a juvenile housemaid.'

The three newly-approved universities, according to Rufai, are the Federal University of Birnin-Kebbi, Kebbi State; Federal University of Gusau, Zamfara State, and Federal University of Gashua, Yobe State.

The minister said the new universities would take off during the 2014/2015 academic session.
