The Year 2012

Hi Friends!

I guess I should start with "Happy New Year?" It is the thought in my heart though...More than a thought actually. A sincere prayer for Prosperity, Increase and above all, Life and Peace for everyone out there...

It might not be your typical beginning as a lot of sad/negative things are currently happening around the world...Unrest, Terrorism attacks and a case in point, removal of oil subsidy in Nigeria! Let's talk about this... No one actually expected it to be this early but here it is! The Federal Government of the Republic of Nigeria, on January 1 2012 removed oil subsidy, thereby causing the increase in fuel price.

I really do not want to flog this issue here, because we all know what is presently going on in Nigeria and the hardship already experienced by the citizens...Every single person is affected by this decision and almost 99.5% of the populace is not happy.   I would want to believe that the remaining 5% represents the Government? Whatever!

Now it's here, what are you going to do about it? How do you plan to cope with the situation? What measures are you putting in place, to ensure you manage and maybe survive the hardship?

I have listed out these questions and here are my answers. This is ME. Your plan can only work, if you stick to it and see it all through till the end.

• What am I going to do about the situation? A lot! For starters, in case you haven't heard, I pray...Is it any good? Prayers? Yes, it is...Aside setting the situation right, it sets you right! Your reaction to the situation changes and directs you aright...Most times not an easy route, but worth every step.
• What Measures & Strategies am I putting in place? I do not intend to wallow in the situation, but from a mere man's point of view, it is very discouraging...I intend to see opportunities in other areas aside my job! Yes! Seek other avenues for income! Haba! 

As I pray and seek God's face (He alone sees the end from the beginning...He knew this would happen) about this fuel madness (and any other madness for that matter, I expect to get directions on what to do and where to go...It's worth the try...Believe me.

Whatever, you plan to do in each month of this year, never forget YOU and GOD. What do you really want from Life at this point? What steps are you taking to see these plans materialize? Are you ready to compromise, sacrifice and face challenges all for your plans to work? 

Where does GOD fit in, in all of your plans?

Right in the center of everything I hope... It does make life and all its challenges a whole lot easier!
