Positive thinking: Arnold Schwarzenegger has admitted that he still loves Maria Shriver and hopes he can save their marriage.

He's recently admitted that he confessed to fathering a lovechild during a marriage counselling session, and kept huge secrets from his wife yet Arnold Schwarzenegger has said he hopes to save his marriage. Despite going through divorce proceedings, the 65-year-old star is still positive about a reconciliation with Maria Shriver.

'You can call this denial, but it's the way my mind works... I'm still in love with Maria,' the actor said during a recent TV interview.

Shriver filed for divorce after 25 years of marriage, after Schwarzenegger admitted that he had fathered a lovechild with their housekeeper.

The former bodybuilder told how Shriver confronted him about the child the day after he left office as California governor in January 2011.

Shriver filed for divorce in July last year citing 'irreconcilable differences' with her husband, whom she met in 1977 and married in 1986, following him into the California governor's mansion in 2003.

The Hollywood actor has been promoting his tell-all book, Total Recall, which was released on Monday.

The Terminator star has admitted that his fling with Mildred Baena was the 'stupidest' thing he had done. 'The divorce is going forward, but I still have the hope that Maria and I can come back together as husband and wife and as a family with our children,' he said in his book Total Recall, which was released on Monday.

Schwarzenegger has been promoting his memoir for the past few weeks, and on Monday night stopped by to have a chat with Jon Stewart on The Daily Show.

The Terminator star told Jon Stewart during an appearance on The Daily Show that he is trying to fix his marriage.

He is said to have told the show host that he is trying to fix things with his wife and their children. It is unknown exactly what the Hollywood star told Stewart, but chances are that it was a light-hearted conversation as Stewart is known for his sense of humour.

In a candid interview with 60 Minutes which aired on Sunday, Schwarzenegger also insisted that he never paid Baena to keep quiet.

When asked if he ever gave her hush money, the star told reporter Leslie Stahl: ‘I don't think that Mildred was at all into talking. Mildred is a good person. She was not out to get me or to take advantage.’

Feeling regret: The 65-ywar-old said that having a fling with his housekeeper was the 'stupidest' thing he had done.

Losing out: The trustees of Whitney Houston's estate are trying to delay her daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown from getting the cash.

And Bobbi Kristina Brown's behaviour has come back to haunt her, as the family of her mother Whitney Houston are trying to stop her getting her hands on her inheritance.

The trustees of the estate, which includes her grandmother Cissy, have filed legal docs requesting that the payment schedule to Bobbi Kristina be changed.

According to Radar, they fear the 19-year-old is under the 'undue influence' of objectionable people. In court documents filed in Fulton County Superior Court in Atlanta, Cissy is claiming her granddaughter 'is a highly visible target for those who would exert undue influence over her inheritance and/or seek to benefit from respondent's resources and celebrity.'

The trustees claim in the schedule of distribution conflicts with her 'intent to provide long-term financial security and protection for her child.

'Compliance with the provisions of the trust would defeat or substantially impair the accomplishment of the purposes of the trust, which were to provide for the proper maintenance and comfort of the respondent, and to prevent the wasting of trust assets, as evidenced by the trust's spend thrift provision.'

Bobbi Kristina is the sole beneficiary of Whitney's estate, which holds all of the superstar's remaining earnings and assets.

Questionable influence? Nick Gordon and Bobbi Kristina were involved in a car crash last week.

The Bodyguard star was found dead in the bathtub of her hotel room at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in February, with the coroner ruling she died of an accidental drowning.

The development follows her recent public appearance with her 'brother boyfriend' Nick Gordon at the Los Angeles premiere of Sparkle.

Both sported sporting new tattoos on their wrists that bore the letters WH surrounded by doves. 

They had the work done on what would have been Whitney's 49th birthday.

Bobbi Kristina is currently filming her reality show The Houston Family Chronicles, which debuts later this year.

Sole heir: Whitney Houston left all of her estate to her beloved daughter.

Last week she was involved in a car accident in Georgia that left her boyfriend's black Camaro badly damaged.

No one was injured in the crash, but sources told TMZ Gordon, 22, was driving and she was in the passenger seat.

No other car was involved in the accident in Alpharetta, but details of how the vehicle sustained so much damage are still unclear.

Her father Bobby Brown recently entered rehab after an extended period of boozing in reaction to Whitney's death, and his subsequent estrangement from his daughter.

One thing that cannot also been taken away from this handsome, half-cast and tall actor is his love for anything under skirt. Though he is happily married with kids; Keira and Zara, Majid still reportedly gets many ladies lubricate his 'joystick' at every given opportunity. 

This may have brought about his encounter with a South Africa-based entertainer who was in Ghana in December 2009 for a shopping spree. As our source told us, this lady (name withheld but we would address as Lady K), is aged 25 and her name starts with letter K and ends with letter Z. She sings at some fun spots during weekends and owns an entertainment outfit in South Africa. 

Revealing exclusively to Nigeriafilms how the pair met, our source said their first meeting was in December 2009 in Accra Mall. Majid then took her to a club and then retired to Madindi Hotel in Ghana. After some time, Lady K called Majid to inform him that she was pregnant but he flared up. He later changed his phone numbers. "I felt for her" says our source.

Our source continues: "I remembered Lady K called Majid on Friday, September 24, 2010, two days after his birthday, that she has given birth to his (Majid) child which happened to be a girl.  He was filled with mixed feelings but there was nothing he could do but to tell the lady that he was not part of it. He then told her to send pictures of the baby to him which she did," our source revealed to us.

The source further told us that in August 2011, shortly before the baby, Sandra, turned one year old, the mother wanted Majid to set his eyes on his daughter, but he (Majid) refused"When Lady K wanted to come to Ghana with the child in August 2011 with the aim of Majid seeing the baby for the first time, he kicked against it. He told Lady K to come to Ghana alone because Sandra was too young to fly from South Africa to Ghana. 

"Lady K had no choice but to agree to him. The funniest thing was that when the lady came to Ghana, Majid told her that he was not in Ghana. As a result, he didn't show up to meet with her when she arrived," our source pitifully told us. 

Our brief investigation on Lady K shows that she is still unmarried and has put the child under the care of a family friend. We also gathered that Majid has practically abandoned them in South Africa as he is believed not to bother about their welfare.

7 Actions News investigator, Scott Lewis has revealed new insights about Nigeria’s failed Underwear bomber, Umar Farouk Abdul Mutallab.

Lewis insight came from interviews with two FBI agents who investigated the case, the stunning one being that Al Qaeda did not recruit Mutallab, it was Mutallab who went in search of Al Qaeda. And there is also the other stunner, that Mutallab wore his underwear bomb for three weeks, before he boarded his flight to Detroit on Christmas Day in 2009.

According to the FBI investigators, the Nigerian did not want all these details revealed in the open court and therefore pleaded guilty to avoid a trial.

FBI agents also say the Underwear Bomber might have inadvertently foiled his own plot because of his obsession about making sure the bomb would not be detected.

FBI agent Ted Peissig cracked the case with an immediate confession. Peissig, who has experience in explosives and interrogation, got the bomber to confess shortly after the incident.

Agent Mike Connelly, an ex-military interrogator, then followed a trail to the Middle East that uncovered critical intelligence in the war on terror, and gave agents a rare glimpse inside the mind of a suicide bomber.

The story began on Christmas Day in 2009, a day of celebration and peace. While many Detroiters were celebrating the holiday, a potential catastrophe was unfolding in the sky over metro Detroit.

A Nigerian-born suicide bomber, Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab was preparing to take down a flight from Amsterdam with explosives hidden in his underwear. He’d been instructed to detonate the bomb over a populated area to maximize the death toll.

In Abdulmutallab’s mind it was an act of martyrdom and jihad. He had no feelings for the men, women and children around him who were about die, according to the FBI agents.

“He did not bat an eye in saying if that plane was going to go down, it was going to go down. That was God’s call. That wasn’t his call. His responsibility was just to detonate the bomb, and whatever happened, happened,” says agent Connelly.

Gunmen blow up Anambra hotel, kill two policemen...

Gunmen on Monday shot and killed two policemen on patrol at Abor Akuzor, Umusoime, Nkpor in Anambra State. Some other policemen on patrol with the cops were also injured in the incident. The policemen were said to be attached to the Ogidi Police Station, Idemili North Local Government Area. The gunmen were also said to have led some people to destroy part of a hotel building under construction in the area.

The building allegedly belongs to the Chairman of Abor Akuzor kindred, Chief Okechukwu Nwafoagu. The killing of the two policemen came on the heels of a similar killing of a woman, Ogechi Okechukwu, on Sunday by gunmen, who attacked the village.

The hoodlums were alleged have used explosives suspected to be dynamite to destroy the mega hotel. The Abor Akuzor people have been embroiled in a land dispute with their neighbouring Oramadike people in Ogidi.

The dispute, which sometimes turned violent, has led to loss of lives and destruction of property.

The Monday attack on Abor Akuzor was the third since May this year. The hotel, which is at the roofing stage, was attacked and property including generators, were set ablaze.

The Police Monitoring Unit, Force Headquarters, had, because of the killings and destruction, summoned the Chairman of Abor Akuzor and his Oramadike counterpart to Abuja, where they were made to sign an undertaking to maintain the peace and order.

The United States’ embassy in Nigeria seems to have perfected the art of denying well-meaning and legitimate non-immigrant Nigerian mothers visa for reasons best known to it. At the end of visa interview sessions, what one hears is, ‘’You are not qualified at this time’’! Women of child-bearing age are asked questions such as: Are you pregnant at this time? How many children do you have? Do you plan to have more children? And if the response to any of these questions is in the affirmative, then the next set of questions may be: Do you plan to have the baby in America? Can you afford to pay the medical bills? You are probably asked to show evidence and even after showing evidence you are told mostly that you do not qualify at this time or that you should reapply after having your baby.

Please note that there have been cases when female applicants did not even know they were pregnant during the interview and later discovered in the weeks to follow! Obviously, a married woman who is sexually active can become pregnant at anytime even with the use of contraceptives. Asking these kinds of questions during interviews is not a way to determine the purpose of the interview, which is to determine if the visa applicant is an intending immigrant. Finding out if an applicant is pregnant or plan to become pregnant soon, has nothing to do with the application but is an unnecessary invasion of privacy.

Moreover in Africa, questions like these are very sensitive as people like to keep such information private until the pregnancy becomes advanced. If one may ask, is the visa meant to be an agreement to celibacy in marriage? In my own case, I had used my American visa many times for holiday and even business before deciding to make use of the medical facilities available in the US to have my baby. I also decided to do this because I developed some complications during the pregnancy and decided to seek better health care. Why then would a consular officer overlook all the business transactions done and deny an applicant for the simple reason of having a baby in America?

A paedophile who changed his name to Michael Jackson abducted, tied up and sexually assaulted a 10-year-old boy. The 50-year-old's identity was revealed today as reporting restrictions were lifted after previous sexual offence charges against him were dropped.

Jackson, who changed his name from Albert English to impress his wife, attacked the boy as he left his home to buy a drink from a shop last December, a court has heard. The naked boy was found covered with Christmas decorations and wrapped in a sheet in Jackson's flat in Oldbury, West Midlands, following a frantic two-hour search by police and family members.

A family friend saw the boy at a window of the flat shouting for help and called police, who were able to lift the boy out. Jackson is facing an indefinite sentence for public protection after pleading guilty to the offence which sparked mass public protests in Oldbury, West Midlands, during a hearing at Wolverhampton Crown Court in May.

Jackson admitted charges of kidnap, sexual assault, false imprisonment and kidnap with intent to commit a sexual offence in relation to the boy’s disappearance.
The former pirate radio DJ will be sentenced later this month.
He was arrested last November after the boy was found at his ground-floor flat in Bristnall Hall Road, Oldbury.

Local people and police launched a frantic search for the boy after he disappeared while walking in the street and it is thought he was held captive for more than three hours.
During a hearing on May 11, the offender, who has previous convictions for sexual assault, also pleaded guilty to abducting a 10-year-old girl in the West Midlands in September last year.

Reporting restrictions had been imposed after Jackson pleaded not guilty to kidnapping, false imprisonment and indecently assaulting a woman in Dudley in 2003. The charges were later dropped.

But Debi Gould, prosecuting, told Judge Nicholas Webb they were now no longer proceeding with those charges and the restrictions forbidding the use of Jackson's name could now be lifted.
 
Although the facts of the offences were not opened at today’s hearing, it is understood that the boy’s hands were bound before he managed to move towards a window of the flat, where he was spotted by a local woman searching for him.

Giving brief details of the offences committed against the male victim, prosecutor Debi Gould told the court: 'The second of the children that was abducted - a young boy - was trussed up, was thrust into a cupboard, and was sexually assaulted.

'They are very grave offences.'

A court heard previously how the 10-year-old was found by mum-of-11 Jean Masih, 49, standing at the window of a nearby flat wrapped in a sheet.

His brother and aunt had called at her home at around 10.30am asking for help in finding the youngster.An hour later she was walking to nearby Tesco when she saw the boy through an open window and asked who he was.

She said the boy replied 'please help I've been kidnapped'.
Speaking at the time Miss Masih said: 'His brother told me he was missing.
'I went round to see what I could see, people were around everywhere looking.
'I looked up to this window and saw him there wrapped in a sheet.

'He said 'help me, I've been kidnapped', I ran back to get the police and they came and picked him out of the ground floor window.
'His arms looked like they were bound and he had a white sheet wrapped around his body. I asked who was in the house and he said "no-one, the man has gone and left me".
'I told him to wait and I ran to call the police from his parents house. I was really shaken up by it all.'

Debi Gould, prosecuting, said the question of dangerousness had to be a real issue in the case which could result in the imposition of an indeterminate prison term for Jackson.An indeterminate sentence of Imprisonment for Public Protection is reserved for particularly dangerous offenders who pose a significant risk of harm.
Jackson has made 20 previous court appearances for 70 offences, mainly burglary, theft and other dishonesty.

His ex-wife Lisa Grose, who has an A4-size cut-out of the singer Michael Jackson sitting in the kitchen of her home in Rowley Regis, West Midlands, said after a previous hearing in February : 'I haven't had anything to do with Michael since we divorced in 2000.

Jackson, who will be sentenced later this month, was arrested last November after the boy was found at his ground-floor flat.

 'We got married in Birmingham in 1995. It was a low key affair with just friends and family.'But it didn't work out. My life has moved on since then.'But this has all come as a bit of a shock to say the very least.'
The incident sparked outrage amongst people living in the area and a heated demonstration outside the flats prompted the Adullam Homes Housing Association, who provide homes for vulnerable people, to rehouse all the tenants.

It also lead to the formation of the Sandwell United Parents Group who began a campaign to get better protection for children from paedophiles.
Jackson was remanded in custody until sentencing on October 29.
